Politely is the Sun in your heart and the way you have opened up some deep emotional expressions which are rare these days. You are brave and brilliant with these words you have given us. I will learn you words into real life and see what comes of it. I think you deserve an award for this poem. Nice one Dan.

maybe its precious
because it is so short.
if its to long, it could get pretty
boring.

Started with a great quote and it was followed by a very wise poem. \"Must be all the love I have in this world, Also a reminder of what money can\'\'t heal\" Very deep and I enjoyed it very much, Dan!!

Really good to see such a wonderful healing message from you sir!
Gentle tentative guitar playing accompanied by what sounds like waves and occasional gull calls or was the mike picking up movement acoustics (they sometimes do).

Breathtakingly inspirational, the final two lines especially struck a chord with me. Reading pieces like this sets of a flame of joy within me, along with the finely picked song, this is one of the best writes I\'ve ever read.

Dan,

“I’ve put all my faith into myself”...

“Let’s not wait for better
We can make it now”

Live the here and the now...
The yesterdays are gone...
We don’t know about our tomorrows...
Today is the day!

I enjoyed listening to
“Love Letters To God”!
Nahko’s music is inspirational!

There you go you see. Wisdom and thru wisdom - vision, and thru that combination action!. Brill!
Now reflect upon the torturous path you have travelled, and those who travelled parts of the path with you. Achiever!
Look how you were and also at those who are only beginning and cannot see a path yet. Each will tread a path to wisdom. It\'s important not to stand in their way. Old heads grow on old shoulders.

A self awareness poem and well written, too. I engaged through your thoughts which has left me thinking about my illusions of words and life. Thank you for sharing your inner thoughts. It\'s always good to let them out.

Great self expression. Letting go of frustrations by losing yourself into something else is a really worthwhile practice. Similar to the oft used phrase \'sleep on it, see how you feel in the morning\'\'. Its amazing how having mentally \'let go\' of something for a while gives it a whole new perspective when once again you pick up its reins isn\'t it.
A good book can be a distraction but when my mind is in turmoil over something i get in my car and go for a drive. Something about being out amongst the trees and fields by the roadside remind me of my own insignificant speck status.

A fine write Dan. You gone? You flown away, as a dragonfly? Where ya gone?!
Though suffering is not the main theme here, I can\'t really go along with all of the quote.
We can\'t really escape suffering, though I try to \'pray it away\' sometimes. The \'detachment\' may cause us to go into escapism, or be insensitive to other\'s sufferings.
Not that I followed Buddha anyway!
