Teddy this one had such a nice appeal to it from the meter to the rhyme and the message too was quite comforting. It rolled and rocked gently like a a boat on calm seas or a mother rocking a cradle and hummed a lullaby taking me to times of safety and peace where trust was stronger than fear. Lovely

The Sylvia in you is alive and kicking dear Teddy. Delivering sensationally in attitude. I’ve just bought a book of her work. You delivered a little punch here as well as some humour. I love the combination of both. Now where are those men for devouring? How about with a little chianti or maybe a vintage red lol. 💜🌹🍷

Very fine words Teddy, time passes anyway and even if we did not realise it it would still take us to the next phase of our lives.

This poem made me smile, Teddy! It has its own delightful kind of logic! Science doesn\'t rule everything in this world! -- especially art, poetry and music!
Sorry I\'m not around much on MPS, but I\'m busy writing and recording music much of the time.

You ask questions dear Teddy. I say let’s leave the physics out of poetry 😂. My own Dad’s qualifications were in that line. Let’s say he didn’t pass much science on to his daughter :) Now when it comes to poetry, it takes a poet to understand another poet. I like your ponderings and your chosen artwork is beautiful. Have a wonderful weekend dear friend. 🌹💜

Wonderful how you can get close to people whom you meet day to day, doing the ordinary. What a lovely share Teddy. My brother and I saw the Beatles at the Astoria in Highgate. It has been one of the highlights of my younger years. Didn’t keep the ticket stubbs though. One of my neighbours I called George for years, a couple of years ago he told me his name is Hugh😂. It happens. Have a lovely weekend 🌹💜

A fine write, Teddy. I have experienced that. My mind feels guilty for not knowing, my heart doesn\'t give a damm he is my friend.

A concert ticket of memories carried with us. A friend familiar that we do not know the name of even after nearly a lifetime of knowing them. Such a great metaphor for our inner self that carries memories of fondness and whom though we love we do not know well enough to know the name of. Such a lovely metaphor intended or not it stood out like an old friend in the dark.

Lovely to escape dear Teddy and leave the concerns behind. I have to say, your visit and the company were right up my street. A highly creative and imaginative write. Are you doing tours? Will book my flight for next time. Have a wonderful Wednesday and hope you are feeling much better. 🌹💜

At first though you were speaking of a traffic jam, then how jammed up it was on earth, then bread and jam oh yes a jam session. A lovely way to remove oneself from all that is below or around and elevate heaven bound. Felt myself smiling thinking of it.

A sad but beautiful poem, Teddy! The whole world seems to be one big mess right now, with the wrong kind of people being elected to lead their countries! I seem to be saying this a lot lately, but we live id dangerous times!

Dear Teddy, you are not alone. I too am wondering with a heavy heart what will come next, but today, the sky is blue and I am concentrating on the beauty in our world. There are flowers for everyone if they care to look. Staying positive. Thank you for your beautiful poetry. 💜🌹

A great message Teddy. When we can not bear to see what is outside us of change what is around us change and focus on what is in us. A wonderful thought in this poem.
