The metaphor here is just magnificent dear Teddy! First, I love wolves. Absolutely love them. My first tattoo was of a lone wolf baying to the moon! Also, I have oft felt like a lone wolf in my life for various different reasons. This poem, for me, is both a call to get in touch with one\'s self to search one\'s own soul, find it, befriend it, etc, as well as a call to reach out to those lonely souls out there who could use a friend, a little light and some hope...all found in the caring presence of another. So, wow ๐Ÿคฏ. This my friend is art...and it is beautiful! ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

Becoming one with one\'s totem is essential to happiness and completion. The act of sharing one\'s self with another another essential step to completion, bringing happiness to another yet another step in this process. All mentioned here and in great metaphor

โ€˜98 here! Happily so, happy to report. But grief is itโ€™s own creature, itโ€™s own processโ€ฆ. And weโ€™ve found of late that there is benefit in grieving alone as well as grieving together (for shared loss). Two aspects of a whole. But thatโ€™s just me.

Oh...dear Teddy, I love this poem. I have no doubt you rocked then too, but you had yet to discover that fact about yourself and you\'ve come into your own since then. A survivor. This poem tells the tale of youth, growth and resilience. You do, indeed, rock...my dear friend and this is a real write of empowerment. One that I feel many will relate with and find healing in reading. I know I relate! ๐Ÿ’ฏ Well done! ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

Wow! Going to have to check that other poem out. Dearest Teddy, this is brilliantly beautiful. I am not sure your circumstances or what led you to live in Florence as opposed to London. Regardless, my dear friend, I very much relate. The USA is large enough for states to be countries away, and my parents live a good 10 hour drive (without stopping, depending on traffic) away. I am all the way up in the Poconos in PA and my mom, dad and sister live about 2 1/2 hours or so north of Atlanta. Their retirement and my job are what separated us and it is always so sad for me to be so far away and rarely able to visit. Though, I am planning a visit soon. Anyway, I totally relate to this and the mixed bag that visiting is. For me, though, I am leaving home to visit them (as they moved away). With that said, home is truly wherever you are surrounded by loved ones. ๐Ÿฅฐ Anywho, thank you for writing and sharing this. It was healing for me to read, my dear friend! ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

I guess thatโ€™s where metal and acid rock was birthed, lifeโ€™s school of hard knocks, scrapes and bruises. My own version of that threw the harmonica in with the harp.
