To know that grief is as much a part of life as happiness, Teddy and be able to acknowledge it means you have found liberation and strength.
(Sounds a bit preachy - sorry!)

Beautifully stated in poetic style a feeling of relief. Lifted from the darkness of past pain to a higher plain. Liberating and lifting a ray of sunlight. Such nice images.

It must be a huge relief to feel some of that heaviness lifting. Grief can certainly weigh you down. This is a beautiful composition Teddy, so well crafted and your posted image looks divine. Have a happy Wednesday dear poet. 🌹

There\'s nothing perfect about madness; unless you can come back using all your resilience and strength you are headed for some very heavy duty medication, Teddy... ??? Calling Teddy....???😩😩😩

A flight without fight and you were there...
I couldn\'t write anything like that, but as a rich visual description of a release from depression and anxiety I think you have owned it, Teddy.

Dear Teddy such a wonderful poem of finding inner strength. I love the beautiful imagery you employ describing your flight with the guardian angel, finding comfort, and strength. Hope you\'ve had a Happy Easter my friend!

It\'s the transition you\'ve made (as narrator) within yourself which makes this piece sing, Teddy.

Wonderfully penned dear Teddy. That opening stanza touches the heart of the reader. It sums up deep loss so well. Grief hits so hard and birdsong can magnify the emptiness ten fold.

Dear Teddy, you have been inspired you to write something truly incredible. You describe beautifully the loss, the sadness, and then the gift of love to be remembered and cherished. A work of art and remembrance for one so dear.

For me this poem harkens back to a time when love letters were written by hand, thought going into every ink stroke, then slowly folded and slipped into the waiting envelope to be licked and sealed, and the stamp licked as well. This is so simply elegant dear Teddy.
The picture a perfect compliment to this little gem!

A really trippy poem, Teddy. I love it. It reminds me of a 1960s song, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, or White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane.
