We find many connections through love, whether it’s a shared interest or someone you admire. I keep hoping and trying to trust in love, great poem Demar.

You know about goji berries? I`m impressed, Demar! I like black tea with milk and black rock sugar (unrefined) or honey, green tea with brown rice (genmai cha), bancha (twig tea), and black soybean tea.

Very relatable. Especially the drinking. I\'ve had trouble in the past but thankfully all that\'s behind me now.

Powerful, my friend. Powerful. I love animals. Dogs and cats and ravens/crows. There my animalistic trinity (though cats...already arguing the order 🙄🤣). There\'s nothing wrong with wanting to sing with birds, either. Go for it, I say! Well done on this, Demar. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

What\'s your favorite animal?
Allie561 said:

I took my dog for a walk yesterday and the robins were out chirping away. And wanting to sing along I don’t think it makes you a narcissist. My favorite animal is a Black Bear, but specifically a Black Bear. They’re smaller than other bears and they seem to have a playful glint in their eye. Great poem Demar.

Why does it matter?
Allie561 said:

A question we all ask ourselves. I try to still put in effort to be the better person because it’s something I value but that thought becomes very appealing after being the only one trying. Hope you’re doing well Demar.

I hope some of us can pose as a remedy Demar. I seem to notice the lack of consideration for others in daily life as I’ve gotten multiple doors shut in my face, whether at a store or into work. It’s not too big of a deal but I miss when people would take time to help each other out. Wishing you the best, may these hard times be over soon.

How are you doing?
Allie561 said:

I’ve been doing quite well lately. Life seems to have good favor upon me at least in the moment. Money is steady, I’ve remembered to walk my dog, work projects have been finished, and my car is running well. I hope you’re doing fine Demar although that sigh can be more than relatable. Now, how are you really doing?

A hug would be fine a kiss on the cheek better yet and both together the best of all. You can tell a lot by holding someone close.

Yeah. Sigh might be where it is right now. We can sigh together, at least. 😮‍💨😮‍💨

What does freedom mean to you?
Allie561 said:

I don’t know how to answer this one, everything I think of just seems wrong. I’ll have to sit and ponder this for a bit.

What does freedom mean to you?
Tristan Robert Lange said:

Demar, this hits hard…you ask a question that refuses to sit quietly. It feels stripped down and urgent, like history still breathing down our necks...as it damn-well should. The weight of it lingers long after the last line. Powerful piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Great question, Demar. For me, it`s (presently) freedom from false beliefs. But then, who or what is this thing I call \"me\"?!

What does freedom mean to you?
sorenbarrett said:

A most interesting question that dives into the depth of determinism and free will beyond the more concrete issue of the physical. It is a matter of perception for even the slave has the ultimate choice to comply or not and suffer the consequences. We all suffer consequences for our choices and the illusion that we have it gives the further illusion that we are responsible for the outcome of our actions. It all is in the mind.

Allie561 said:

Violence is something we cannot avoid and I do wish there could be peace. Not sure why so many people seem to be looking for another war.

What does freedom mean to you?
Poetic Licence said:

True freedom has never been achieved as we are always controlled in some way or other, but at least in some countries we currently have a certain amount of freedom, although that is slowly being eradicated. It is sad that freedom cannot just be a given for all mankind, enjoyed the read

Do you hate violence?
Poetic Licence said:

So rightly said, if you have ever lived in or been involved in war, you would never want to do it again, especially when it will serve no purpose, it will just leave a more dangerous and unstable country behind. The USA have a horrendous record in meddling in the middle east, and not one of those country\'s is now better for it. Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan all these have just gone backwards as a result of our interventions, I guess his ego will filling the new ballroom, poignant write.
