Would You Call Me God?.

Don\'t mind taking it to \'em do ya!
I really find it hard to add to that. But that\'s the mindset of people who are religious. I, as an atheistic agnostic find it impossible to understand their position. However, it is obvious that many folks find comfort in their what i consider to be erroneous beliefs, and if those beliefs help get them through life, then....
But if at any time their beliefs impinge on my own rights then screw \'em....
And if you tell me to have a lovely weekend, I\'ll find ya and have a quiet word.....😇🙃

There are names we whisper with hope, placing faith in unseen hands. Yet silence lingers, wars rage, and prayers dissolve into emptiness If love is spoken but never felt, if mercy remains untouched, then devotion alone cannot lift the weight that suffering leaves behind. 🙏🏻🕊️

A piercing critique of divine hypocrisy—your words unmask the silence of the claimed almighty. Power, not mercy, wears the crown in this bold revelation.

Harsh and to the point a powerful write that speaks with anger and disgust at what many see as God. Well constructed in question form it places the burden back on the reader to answer such questions that seemingly have only one answer. How can anyone worship such a god. But we do and have to ask why do we. Very nicely written.

Strong words. And very relatable. God is too often too inhumane, although they say we were made \"in the image and likeness\"

Good poem . I think mirrors can be difficult to look into sometimes
I think they can show us how we might be feeling / what we don’t like etc
Sometimes I see a stranger in the mirror ..

NO. Yes. Yes and No. Both/and, as well as neither, depending. My self-esteem and self-image has been a struggle for me all of my life. Powerful and probing poem that asks a tough, but important question. Wonderful job, my friend. 🌹👏

A most reflective write Tobani lol Never the less it has always bothered me that I see neither in that the image is changed left to right and I suppose that fraction of milli-milli second that it takes for the light to get from the mirror to my eye it is what I used to be. Always loved thought provoking poems and this was one cleverly done.

Wow! A powerful poem, Natiella! You and I clearly had the same way of processing the shit we dealt with at school. Glad for it too. This one hit home for me, being someone who was brutally bullied. Thank you for sharing. 🌹👏

The wounds once sharp
now dull— not vanished,
but understood.
Strength came slow,
beneath each bruise,
in the silence where
fear could not last.
You sought power in fists—
I found it in walking away.

Where in the world do you get these?! My la! How perfectly horrifying, macabre, ghastly, nightmarish! There\'s no hope of deliverance since the mirror is guilty, no human. Goodnight! What a chilling piece for Monday. Superbly rendered with excellent imagery and a terrifying poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
