Fond of limericks Tobani. In an absurd way, all three of these have a little discomfort in them. Enjoyed. Hope your Sunday has been pleasant.

A nice mirthful trio here TobaniNataiella.

Though when I read them back and paid more attention to the title of each limerick, I cannot help but think that each of them is a satirical comment on the operation of humanity, makes them even more immersive.

Bravo, and I hope that all is well.

When one is deprived of all one has then it is an opportunity for a new beginning. What is painful at the time becomes a burning of the field for a new crop. Very emotive this poem and the feeling flows out of it

Quick thinking dad! And the Santa radar worked as well! Very important to get the wish list right!!! I was fortunate enough to get my proper train set early. For it was a early too that the Santa lore ended for me, I was 10 when it was set in stone; 9 was a bit of a fogged up year.

Cassie58 said:

You know I can’t help liking the fact that the poor turkey got away. The older I get the more difficult I find it to eat what was once roaming on farms or in fields. Having said that, I still managed some beef yesterday. Reminded me of Gordon Ramsey. Served up the turkey the kids had fed all year round for Christmas dinner. Oh my, eating your pets, definitely a no no. Hope you had a pleasant day yesterday Tobani. All the best.
