Two Views of the Wind

A lovely write of opposites and the question of which side you are on. As for me it is a blend of the two multiple views are generally a more honest view. Well written and nicely organized it presents its point well.

Age is just a number I mentioned to the children.
Yes, they said, but yours is a big number.
Showed them a hand stand.
Now they\'ve rested their case.

The end of this poem reinforced my thoughts. To me hope is white the gathering of all colors of light not reflected but light itself and in it hope becomes what any wish or desire it is that canvas that exists blank before thought and paint are put to it. A lovely poem and a fave

To the one that has it, it doesn’t matter. To those that diagnose it, they label it from their own area. I believe that they are all of these things depending upon your point of view. Regardless, it’s a terrible illness.

The contradiction from one culture to another is expressed in this poem. In the United States the owl is seen as a symbol of wisdom. In this sense wisdom of knowledge may represent the forbidden fruit from the tree that when eaten lead to mortality and thereby death. So the owl of wisdom becomes the harbinger of death but at the same time good fortune for opening our eyes. A lovely poem
