Good write Auburn.
If we nap too much in the day or evening, we may find we are wide awake when we go to bed. Doh!

Of Shoots and Man
L. B. Mek said:

some poetry transcends words and flow, it resides deep in those corridors we seldom prioritise, maybe a glimpsed sway of yellow petals - that tease Winter\'s ensuing surrender..
some will, look - hardly register and move busily along, while other\'s, like you dear Poet
will sing that moment a song, reminding us all: we too once took note of Nature\'s venerable majesty..
a brilliant and Important write!
thank you for sharing

A fine tribute Tom.
Whoops, a former Vicar of ours had been in the military. Fairly young, but visions of little old ladies marching and standing to attention! With an old \'war wound\' he sadly lost a leg about 40 years later.

A Walk in Lockdown
Goldfinch60 said:

Wonderful words Ben, those walks can bring back so many wonderful memories, I too walk most days, normally next to My River, the River Avon.
When I was working I used to go to Newark Council occasionally to sort out their computers.

Me own walking poem was a bit less historical: \'I passed the site of a former Co-op and Red Lion...\' Well, it may have been an old pub! lol.

Horizon

fantastic!
grounded in all things depressingly real, while managing
to depict that solace glint in our horizon of hope...
such a wonderful read, really brightened my dreary Friday morning,
what a timely write as well,
thank you for sharing dear Poet

Robert Southwick Richmond said:

Neat acrostic. It might be more easily read if you left-aligned the poem, rather than using MyPoeticSide\'s default middle axis. It\'s always a bit of a chore to get it to do that, but it can be done.
