MERLOT
LaurašŸŒ» said:

Michael,
I agree! A good vintage Merlot will do it for me and my husband! Iā€™ll admit that in the past, as an adult, I only drank Pinot Grigio!
My husband is still strictly red!
Depending on the meal,
I do well with both!
So hereā€™s to you šŸ·, Maestro, for a super write and a super painting!

Thank you Michael.

A charming lovely poem.

I see you\'re a red man !

I confess that I am a white wine person all the way!

Keep writing

Yes i agree, merlot can be relied upon and available in a range of moderate to low prices. My fav is cabernet sauvignon but it doesn\'t do to buy a cheaper one.
I have consumed more merlot in recent years. Such good taste!

Very good painting Michael.

Good write as well, Merlot is OK but I would always reach for the Rioja.

So true. We have to get past any prejudices before we can truly open our minds and hearts to new people, things and even experiences. Great write Mr Michael!

Great analogy, whereas the thinking mind IS on a flexible \'line\', those prejudices are ever present to trip us up.

Are they still there when we\'re \'pegged - out?\' ... sorry, couldn\'t resist that.

A fine write and pic Michael. Ohh it\'s too psychological this time of day - and far too long a word for this time of day. See ya later, when I\'ve had a lie down to recover!

Michael,
Today must be one of those days! Yours is the second write that Iā€™ve read about a peaceful death!
My dadā€™s was a peaceful death...3:00a.m. ...8 1/2 years ago!
Your exquisite verse beautifully expresses how I felt about my dadā€™s passing! Well done my friend!
Love the pic of the aquilegia! Too bad Iā€™m not allowed to plant flowers at his gravesite! Like you, he loved his garden!

Transitional beauty here. I\'m interpreting this as the passing at the end of life. I hope i have this right because anyone reading this piece with thoughts of the end of their days will surely see the passing over as a time of.magical transition.
Lovely words.

Mankind\'s unrelenting obliviousness of the direct result of their actions. History repeats itself because humans never learn. A sad tragic truth of humanity. Pretty flowers. I\'ve never seen those. I\'m going to have to start saving your pics. I don\'t think we have those here.
