YOU may say you\'re a DREAMER
You\'re not the only one
So today I have joined you
That the WORLD might be one

We must first dream about something !

THANKS MIKE ~ Tautology and semantics are the playing ground of \"Smart Poets\" and often involve the mine field of English spelling and pronunciation ! To help my American Friends and others for whom the Queen\'s English is NOT their first lingo ~ I often write phonetically and then get castigated by the MPS Control Police !

I left my GAFF an\' went to the CAFF
We all had a HAFF an\' a LAFF
Jim came in ~ He\'d not had a BAFF
TAFF said ~ He smell like GIRAFF !

Said a boy to his teacher one day
WRIGHT has WRITTEN ~ WHEELWRIGHT wrong today
The teacher replied ~ staring horrified
RIGHT ~ WRIGHT WRITE WHEELWRIGHT RIGHT
RIGHT RIGHT away !

Thanks for sharing BRIAN

oooooooooooo Jammies slip.......... bad thing. Today, tomorrow or yesterday! Told you about the artwork at the Reader\'s Digest earlier..... there were two Modigliani\'s at the end of two long corridors that ran off the reception area - his melted lady - so extraordinary up close and from afar!

You’re welcome, Michael! I enjoy reading your poetry and seeing your artwork! You are a talented man!

As far as the sad people out there, you’re right! I split my residency between Italy and the U.S.A! Neither place is what it use to be! Too many politicians who fill their pockets with our money!

A great write, Michael!
I’m glad you explained about Waitrose and Lidl! This reminds me of some of the ladies I use to work with showing off their fake Gucci or Chanel or Louis Vuitton handbags! They were only fooling themselves! I guess it made them feel special...But that’s ok...no harm done to the rest of us who might wear the real stuff! We all knew where we came from!

Beautiful red tulips. Nothing fake about them! 😉

Michael,
Some fine senrys and beautiful flowers!

History should never be erased. It should be understood. We’ve all endured hardships! That’s what makes us strong!

We can knock down all the statues we want! The past will not be erased! It is up to all of us to to be civil, humane and understanding to make it better! I never thought we’d be where we are...BACKWARDS!
