Angela here - Good Evening FAY. Life is Paradox it creates for us BOTH an Opportunity for Love to Flow but also paradoxically counters it with Obstruction. Patience is the KEY ! To avoid & shun negativity and embrace positivity to fulfil our Dreams ! Love the final paragraph *Together for now & Eternity.
The night I met Brian - It is interesting there was another Mature Man (George 36) at the Dance who was single and worked in Radiography so our paths crossed quite a lot. I knew He liked me and He was easy to talk to but He was a Humanist and had no respect for my Catholic Faith. He was a good Dancer but even in the Waltz there was no rapport between our Hearts. At 28 I wanted to be married and start a Family - but I had to be in Love ! In the Band Interval I was sitting with a group of Ladies (mainly Nurses) some of whom Brian knew through the Diploma in Nursing Course @ the College. They introduced me and my Heart awoke ! The first Dance was a Waltz and he asked Me for a Dance - and the rest is History. *Cometh the Day - Cometh the Man !* AMEN ! George watched us Dancing and knew instinctively that He had met his Match and I had met Mine. The Men were outnumbered 3 to 1 so G did not go Home empty~handed just empty~hearted ! Even after that Brief encounter Brian & I knew we would never have to fall in love ever again ! The Paradox is that for Brian - the fact that I was a Devout Catholic was a very big POSITIVE - Ours really was a Match made in Heaven - AMEN !

Blessings & Peace & Joy
Love Angela & Brian & Smokey !

ANGELA HERE - Good Evening Fay - MEMORIES ! As we get older - memories accumulate - some are more poignant & memorable than others ! Brian & I have Walls & Display Cabinets in our new Home and already they are filling up with memories ! Photos - pebbles (with dates & place on) - artifacts etc to remind us of People & High Days & Holidays.
BUT your moving Poem focuses on a Single Day - out of thousands. It is eternally etched in your memory. The sky & sea - The birds & rocks and the PEACE ! Eventually culminating in the UNFORGETABLE TRYST - AMEN. Brian & I have had such moments and trust we will have many more ~ AMEN !

Blessings - Peace & Joy
Love - Angela & Brian 💛💛💛

I know it is just \"me,\' but your phrasing of the first two stanzas had me thinking of \"The Birds\" - the short story and later the movie.
But then you smacked me straight with the final stanza and those \"memories never so treasured

Even more treasured now i could easily believe.
I must say your words took me back to sometime, someplace, someone.... a similar scene in my memory which i have to admit i found quite moving.
Words, from the hand of one who\'s life flows through them, can bring so much unexpected joy to savour.

BRIAN HERE ~ Good Evening Fay thanks for a *stimulating* Poem ! ANGELA love Tenable - The Format - The Function & The Frontman ! As a PHYSIO she admires WARREN because He has overcome congenital physical problems ~ but also He is great Host and good role mode for People with Dwarfism ! Love your Mantra *Playing with Words* because it has enabled you to plum verbally & effectively the unfathomable Well of LOVE ! Now that I am well & truly in the *Well* I am out of my acceptable linguistic depth no one warned me it would be this sensuous. What we Are experiencing we would find it impossiblcie to verbalize ~ without eroticism ~ and I would have to resign form the Diaconate ! You have managed this ~ but then you are a LADY. You write like Georgia O*Keefe paints and leave much to the imagination ! Thanks for caring !

Blessings & Joy & Peace
Love Brian & Angela ~ AMEN

Love and obsession -They say the greatest sex organ is the brain, so it\'s no wonder the two get muddled. Are we insane when we fall or when we desire? I can only say, \"We\'ll never sort this out.\"
So I don\'t know if I loved your poem or am obsessed by it. But I\'ll fave it anyways. - Phil A.

What you have written is fine and true. Love and lust are associated very closely. Lust after all is a part of attraction and certainly pleasureable, love may well result. Reversed, one may fall into loving someone and the lust may well follow. I hope both scenarios are true.
Obsession... is that where one subject takes a superior status to any other in our mind. Well love does that too but i guess obsession includes losing touch with reality and the bounds of reasonableness which can become negative too.
It\'s all a case of balance isn\'t it. And even when the balance is right it needs to be finely tuned for a relationship top last.

Clever writing Fay which gets a mug like me to expose what makes me tick.

Keep playing - love this although I have an aversion to the word \'tenable\' ever since that awful TV show of the same name started on the box. Anyway it doesn\'t detract from this - keep writing dear Fay.

This could have happened to me after my first marriage broke down but the relationship between my first wife and I is still amicable nearly fifty years later and the children are fine with us both.

You portray this situation of inner grief so well here.I hope it was not situation you lived with.

After my marriage break up i witnessed this at first hand in the children of my partner of the time. I promised never to do this to my kids and to this day me and my ex maintain a good healthy respectful friendship. My son, now forty, complains his mum picks fault in him lol. I just laugh it off.

However, better to be torn in the way you describe than to live in the battlefield of a marriage which has become intolerable.

A heartfelt thought provoking piece today from you covering a subject all too painful regardless of one\'s age.

I don\'t know why but reading this i perceived you as a Lark. The bird. And reflecting upon your wonderful descriptions of dawn and early mornings wildlife, a Lark arising.

Again you bring how at one you are with the wilderness and nature around you. It is always quite refreshing to read your nature poetry for it makes me take time out to place myself within the environs you describe... yes refreshing is absolutely the right word. Big thank you for another few moments of tranquil thought.
