Beauty in accepting the simple as it is. We complicated beings so over-complicate the world all around us. Defining, analysing, \'improving\' and messing with it rather than accepting we are in it. A harmonious simple existence with what is all around - it\'s just there for the taking.
An appreciation of a moments acceptance.

I paused to smell the roses

SOMETIMES FAY @ An auction we are captivated by a Painting or a Sculpture of a sensuous LADY ! Such as you describe. She triggers something in our memory of Younger Carefree days ! WE MUST HAVE HER ! I didn\'t set my limit in POUNDS but the limit set itself for me (Brian doesnt like me attending auctions !). When it was exceeded (it was a Painting) I knew I could not possess her : BUT I felt she had possessed me. So I was satisfied ! Memories of an Art Auction in Essex. Sadly my limit was £50 it was sold for £250 !

In farms around the globe, this image you have so elaborately versed, is still repeated everyday.
Maybe the dusk is appreciated more, because of toiling day.

Thanks FAY for sharing a very Rural Idyll ! When I was a child I spent some time on a very rural Farm in Angelsy N Wales. Itwas just as you Pictured & Described it. Lines of laundry ~ Cats ~ Home baked bread ~ Owls & the Welsh GFather Clock ~ Fresh eggs and Home churned cream ~ Dogs & tired Sheep & New born Lambs ~ A 24 hour Day ~ EVERY DAY ! I guess nearly 30 years later ~ things are very different in many Farms ! Mind YOU our Friends ~ who are the Sons & Daughters of Farmers would seek no other Way of Life ~ and the Girls all marry Farmers ! Some seek to be Vets and some Managers & Ecologists & Environmentalists etc. But all within the Sphere of FOOD PRODUCTION & LAND MANAGEMENT !

Lovely romantic lines of rural life as was and continues. Yes dusk is a magical time which encourages we cease our toil and as my nom de plume suggests, dusk seems to grow in the shadows, arising from the ground whilst the sky remains lit from the fallen star.
Such atmosphere you create with your snoring collies and welcoming aromas.

Beautiful, another look back into our past as did dusk arising\'s \'new world\'.
Days of yore were so wonderful even with all the hard work needed in those times.
Can I have a three minute boiled egg please Fay.

At home? Don\'t you hear the beach calling.
All those bodies beautiful displayed in scant bathing apparel... and the not so beautiful of lifes survivors. Each a beauty within.
Aren\'t we poets lucky to be able to express our minds beauty as we do.
Just as well our beauty has many forms... mine\'s a hideous contrivance mind you. And such a contrast to the lovely picture you paint today.

Taking speed from the car puts life into its inhabitants. When will people realize that there are safe speeds and reckless speeds?
Thanks Fay for bringing this tragic event to poetic fruition. I think your poem may serve to highlight the world-wide problem of auto safety.
