LETTING GO.
Laura🌻 said:

My Dear Fay,

“Letting Go”...is painful!
Time does not heal wounds and/or pain! The span of time might lessen the pain until a birthday and/or an anniversary comes along...and then full force we feel that pain again! We learn to cope with it but never “Letting Go” of it!

A sensitive and beautiful write!

Since I met BRIAN I have known the ECSTASY of LOVE for the first time in my LIFE ! But it also makes SEPARATION : AGONY and should anything happen to BRIAN : Inside I know I would DIE TOO ! Love the POEM !

Words cannot convey agonies nor ecstacy when felt first hand. The reader has to fill the spaces from their own experiece. As your words show.

For me \'the immeasurable flood\' is always topped with a reflection. Whereas the flood has depth of pain, the reflection is of equally tall mountains of pleasure scaled within the relationship. In this way I preserve a positive view of things passed.

Goodbyes are always hard, is it because out of sight leads to out of mind?

Nature has so much more to teach us - and one example is your subject here.

Schools of fish, or flocks of birds, bats and insects, in thousands and many times more, dance in a rythm that\'s awe inspiring.

Nice homage to bats, Fay

You certainly capture the speed and agility of these night sky dancers here Fay.
I had the delight of one entering my living room and entertaining me for a couple of minutes one summers nite many moons ago before it sounded its way back out to feast upon the moths gathered beneath the portico outside my window.
You describe something i have never seen though, that movie scene of a \'crowd\' of bats streaming across the skies. I only saw few at a time.
Once again your writing took me there.

Thanks for sharing FAY : I love BATS ! We have a lot in NZ in the caves ! I love the fact that they navigate by RADAR and not sight ! In BAT CAVES Ive never had a BAT in my hair : although I do wear a Hat with a LAMP ! Love the PHOTO and the POEM !
Your poem captures: Their rapid vapid movement : Their shadowy wraithness (apt word !) : Their feeding and sudden exit ! Another gem from FAY ! Please check my HOSPITALS POEM : Thanks
Blessings & Love

Thanks FAY ~ for sharing an elegant LOVE POEM ! When BRIAN and I became engaged it was a first for both us because : for the first time we felt our mutual love was strong enough for commitment and subsequent Marriage ! Being apart has been difficult but the rings we wear (Brians is a signet ring with A🧡B on it !) have shown to the World that we (in the Modern Parlance) are : AN ITEM !
V 1. TRUE LOVE is Constant & Content and never fails !
V 2. LOVE wihout TRUST is ephemeral
V 3. TRUE LOVE should never be taken for granted : AMEN !
Thanks for caring & sharing
Blessings & Love in the SPIRIT
Yours ANGELA & BRIAN 🧡🧡🧡🧡
