In my world I must allow my children to do their homework on their ipads but books are essential to learning too. And good old fashioned exercise! In this world, we must be firm with the electronic device bit. Great write!!

So very true, they must be able to learn for themselves but with understanding guidance from there parents. In the first five years of a childs life they gain seventy five percent of their total life’s knowledge.

They can be stifled but they can also have too much freedom. My daughter only allows her 5year old to spend 1 hour a day on electronic devices and as a result he takes himself off to do reading, homework (even at this age) and play outside - so different to those children who are not guided in any way and left to their own devices. Love, interest and guidance are key but so many modern parents seem to fail at the the firmness bit.

Thanks for sharing FAY ~ Could the Human Eye evolve ? I don\'t think so ! GOD our Creator put a lot of creativity into the Human Eye ~ It sees pictures in 3D ~ in Motion and in Colour ! God designed it to analyse and differentiate the VISIBLE SPECTRUM from RED through to VIOLET (R O Y G B I V) and to be able to differentiate between hundreds of different shades. The colours of the CLOTHES we over & underwear all send out a message and also (as you point out) we all have a coloured Aura which only the Spiritual can detect ~ this Aura reflects the vibrations of the soul ~AMEN. Colours do stimulate and control our senses Red stimulates the BODY ~ Yellow cheers ~ Green calms ~ Blue stimulates the MIND & Purple the SPIRIT ! Interior Designers & the Rag Trade are well aware of the effect of COLOUR on US ~ Body Soul & Spirit ~ AMEN. Thanks for sharing very stimulating ~ Yours BRIAN & ANGELA 💜🧡

I know this place, seen in its majesty from high on Portland. They say the whole bank/beach was washed up in some tremendous storm. It doesn\'t seem in any hurry to be swallowed up.
From atop the bank swans can be seen gracefully making way in the Fleets to the landside where once the breakers crashed. Such contrast. And yes out to sea around the Bill the currents race to wreck the unsuspecting.
Methinks you know this place well.

You see the seas water there, well me and my father used to trawl for scallops. We worked that area frequently which within those years alongside 20 other fishing boats it was banned from from British fishing boats to fish there. However the French trawlers fished there legally.. Great place, great scenery and just like your poem, very relaxing.
