C\'est la Vie FAY ~ For thousands (yea millions) of Girls (& some Men) who flirt on the edge of Show & Glamour Business and never make it big-time but on the way lose direction & morals & ultimately ~ Self Respect ~Some of my older Students in Beauty & Media are heading in that direction and even 1 or 2 in my very Extended Family ! It is sad but true and very prevalent in today\'s very secular and amoral Society ! Thanks for sharing ~ Yours as always BRIAN.

My Dear Poetess Fay,

My first read of this exceptional poem reminded me of Maya Angelou’s ā€œI Know Why The Caged Bird Singsā€- - -metaphorically comparable!

A fine write Fay. One place I knew insisted on hats or scarves or some head-covering for women. Hope it\'s not irreverent to say, but it made some of them look frumpy, or a gathering of the W.I. They can be terrifying, you know! lol. Have I put my foot in it? Are you in the W.I.?

What a fantastic poem! \"Hatted heads bow\"...We don\'t much do hats in america. I don\'t even own a hat! I would love to attend a church in England! I digress.....back to your poem, it is very descriptive and I read it twice because it was so wonderful!

GOOD MORNING FAY ~ I\'m just off to work and have had no time to en an ODE today. Love the Shape of your Poem (very El Greco) and it looks like falling tear drops which befits the Subject.

Sadly so often there is neither time nor opportunity for those BITTER GOODBYES ~ and the sadness hangs suspended in time FOREVER.

Thanks for caring & sharing ~ BLESSINGS BRIAN & ANGELA 🧔🧔🧔

Release feels better when the mind knows the situation was not right for the both of you. Love shared is the most wonderful flower we have in our lives and from it spring many riches. Love misplaced is a torturous existence teaching us things we have to learn painfully.
Either way, Love endures.

WONDERFUL NOSTALGIC POEM FAY ~ thanks for sharing ! We all get stranded from time to time \"out of our comfort zones\". Thus far I\'ve managed to make it back in time ~ those that don\'t perish. Of such is LIFE & (sadly) DEATH. Yours as always BRIAN Please check my Poem on WORDS ~ Thanks B !

Wonderful poetry, Faye.

I once had the chance to see a belly dancer and her movements were unbelievable, like those of the Hawaiian dancers.

So good to give the belly dancer the recognition she deserves.

I loved the originality of you poem. and thanks for posting. :)
