a very timely post indeed, emotionally charged and ragged and real capturing the very essence of that saddest of affairs, that which we call war..... I wholeheartedly agree, we must never forget..... fine words Fay.. N

There is a saying in singing, and other procedures, which goes \"Use it or lose it\"

May your rhapsody of love become stronger each day.

BRIAN & ANGELA said:

Im SPECIAL ~ because GOD loves me
He gave His best thing ~ just to Save me
JESUS crucified to take my blame
For the BAD things I have done !
Thank you JESUS ~ Thank you GOD
For loving me so much
I know I dont deserve IT !
Help me to feel your Love ~ right NOW
To know ~ deep in my Heart
That Im ~ YOUR SPECIAL FRIEND !

This Childrens Chorus underlines all you are saying. Every Human Being is created to have the capacity to be A Star : Important : Special & Worth much more than they ever thought. It is the culmination of Self Worth & Self Respect. I have to instil this into my STUDENTS ~ Some of whom are DAMAGED and ANGELA to her Clients ~ Some of whom are very DAMAGED. We are both healers. The only codicil I would add (from our Perspective & Experience as committed Christians) ~ All Humans are created in Gods Likeness and have infinite potential & resilience (The INVICTUS GAMES proves this !) BUT those who put their Trust in God ~ fulfil His Purpose for their Lives ~ And by wearing the \"Whole Armour of God\" achieve far more than they would without it ~ OK Thanks for this GEM ~ which has caused us to think on these things ~ Love in the Spirit : BRIAN & ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡

I love your teaching healing message here. As often happens, it reminds me of the closing lines of \'desiderata\'. Words which i hold close to me.

WITH YOU.
dusk arising said:

Wonderful. Recounted beautiful things which remain long after the physical parting. These validate our being, reminding us that we are worthy of the wonderous experiences shared with such a special \'other\'.
Reflecting upon the love shared rather than the loss is the positive way to reminisce. I know it is so for me.

Fay, this poem is filled with sentiment from the heart. A fine romantic piece that hammers home the intimacy with the repeating line, \"Or was it
those breakfasts with you ?\"

Excellent write, Fay. :-)

What an absolute delight it was to stumble across this page, not only for your poems aesthetic/visual appearance and value but because often, sculptured poems dont seem to work, at least not for me. These however, most certainly do. Thoroughly enjoyed.... Neville

I love Poems in triplets ! Your meter is perfect so it flows beautifully as free verse with a soupcon of half~rhyme ! Scarf weather ~ well wrapped up to watch the last leaves falling enjoying the crunch of the leaves and the crisp of the day ~ AMEN. Thanks for caring ~

My Dear Fay,

Your poem “Beautiful” is dreamy and delightful as is your choice of pic!
I love these lines...
“Walk ousts sleep as drowsy brains
doused with dawn air
stay wakefully keen all day.”

Beautifully expressed!
