This is really beautiful FAY : It expresses perfectly how a Love Poem develops in my mind : and then into draft on paper ! Thanks FAY : Angela here. This (as usual) is an elegantly presented Poem. Four balanced Quatrains with a consistent (xaxa xbxb etc) rhyme pattern and metre (Brian is teaching me how to analyse poetic structure !) However the message is rather melancholy (not your usual optimism ?). V 1. Sad Present haunted by pleasant past. V 2. AWAKE @ night because dreams of past memories are too bitter sweet ! V 3. CRYING : in my pillow : because the SAD present has eclipsed the HAPPY past V 4. Loss of a Loved One does leave us half-empty. Yet one has to learn to begin to enshrine the past and press on resolutely ! (In my experience never easy !)
I want to be a better Poet and I am advised by Reading & Tutors & Brian : To read and analyse the Works of Good Poets : like yourself ! Was my analysis OK ? Thanks for posting poems on emotionally difficult areas

It is the culmination of Self Worth & Self Respect. I have to instil this into my STUDENTS ~ Some of whom are DAMAGED and ANGELA to her Clients ~ Some of whom are very DAMAGED. We are both healers. The only codicil I would add (from our Perspective & Experience as committed Christians) ~ All Humans are created in Gods Likeness and have infinite potential & resilience (The INVICTUS GAMES proves this !) BUT those who put their Trust in God ~ fulfil His Purpose for their Lives ~ And by wearing the \"Whole Armour of God\" achieve far more than they would without it ~ OK Thanks for this GEM ~ which has caused us to think on these things ~ Love in the Spirit : BRIAN & ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡
