A fine write Fay. There are things that can come in to distract us: \'What about this or that?\' \'What about tomorrow?\' \'Something\'s bound to go wrong I bet\', etc. Negativity, hurting, hating, harming oneself, can all come in. Yet to live one day at a time, to be ourselves each day, though not in an escapism sort of way.

Fay,
AP and Brian said it best! I totally concur with their comments.
The entire poem is a wonder! My favorite line that opens up my mind to welcome the wonderment of nature is...
to climb from depression and take comfort in beauty in viewing surrounding reality.
So masterfully written.
It reads like a prayer. Thank God for Mother Nature and you for being able to capture it with words!

We can have a thousand reasons to be depressed ~ but for me a \"Walk in the Woods\" or the East Coast Shore (which is only 10 miles away !) lifts my Spirit to Heaven and I say to myself \"What a Wonderful World ~ AMEN !\" Thanks for carin\' an\' sharin\' ~ Yours as ever |BRIAN

Beautifully said, Fay! I think we who are in the Fall or even Winter of life, all have this yearning for Spring sometimes. You expressed it so well. And while we may not follow the other star yet, we do know that eventually we will be flying together again.

Your poem touches a deep chord in reflecting such a great loss, Fay. \"Why was one star made to fly in unexplained orbit yet its mate may not follow?\" says it all quite beautifully!

Fay,
Your writes are amazing!
This one does make us wonder and ponder
why one goes
and the other one stays!
My mom asks that
every single day!
Why he and not me?

This other-worldly offering pairs well with a book by Dr. Hugh Ross that I\'m nibbling on for the second time regarding the transdimensionality of God. Stunning work, Fay.

\"Through the thinnest of veils there exists worlds behind and between\" ... Speaks volumes on the perception of the seeker. The phrase says it all so succinctly and so poetically well, Fay. I do believe your and your muse share my conception of this illusory realm. This one must go into my favorites. Congratulations on this treasure!
