Love can scale to the highest height, overcome any barrier, physical or otherwise. Separated lovers will always find the way back together. And lovers can be made of the strangest pairs. Myths have been written, castles have fallen, wars have been fought over love torn apart. Some intense sentiment here, very skillfully worded, abundant meanings, and a message from the heart. Great write. Loved it. - Phil A.

Very true Fay. It has gotten some in trouble, as History has shown. Great poem.

Thanks you FAY ~ perfect picture to complement an elegant poem ! The Sheep Farmer\'s life in the Lakeland Fells ~ and in the West Country ~ is a hard but rewarding one ! The reward is not financial ~ but the bleat of Newborn Lambs at 5am. In the Sight of GOD being a Hedge Layer is infinitely more important (and spiritually rewarding) than being a Hedge Funder ~ AMEN Thanks for caring ~ Yours B.

Thanks for caring & sharing FAY ~ the uniqueness and rural beauty of DEVON percolates this gem. Your absence of verse is more than compensated by your strict adherence to metre ! For me a poem must have at least rhyme or rhythm. However it is the subject of the Poem that is ultimately of prime importance, I agree with LAMAR that the elegance of your similes between the \"beauty of flowers\" and the \"joy of morning\" are what makes this poem (and the complementary art) very special. Lovely to read ~ even more lovely to recite ~ Thanks B.

Not so keen on the Raphaelites myself but still recognise the skill in his paintings. Keen on your poetry though and also recognise the skill in your work.

Your similes of jewels and a morning in Spring are amazing. I can sense the Winter fading as orchards blossom and gardens bloom.

Bitten by the Dove of Love? So, someone has to ask the question, might as well be you. Why is it so difficult for humans to speak on this subject? We have mouths and tongues for communication, but in love they become almost useless. Great poem Fay, loved it. - Phil A.
