THANKS FOR SHARING FAY ~ As we grow older we begin to experience some of the extremes of love ~ but we never fully understand them. Love grows and love wilts ~ but we never (fully) understand WHY. I have learned to enjoy it while it lasts ~ but not to suffocate (in misery) when it dies ~ but to learn positives from the experience ~ and move on as gracefully and gratefully as possible ! Yours B.

Very very good Fay
I like the\" taste of
Ruby red wine\"
I have a poem
About memory
From youth, it has
The line, \"memory
Flows as I take a
Sip Of blood red wine\"

Ah what a lovely poem for a great flower. I currently have large trumpets, jonquils, split coronas, doubles, pink trumpeted, and miniature species all in bloom but they are about to go over now - but there is so much to follow and look forward to.

Thanks FAY ~ I love thin poems ~ lovely to recite ! The History of WW1 tells me that being BALD (or having a NUMBER ONE) was the preferred hairstyle in the trenches. There were of course (as far as I know) no females on either side. Thanks for caring ~ Yours B.

Apart from the sparrow who I love simply for his cheeky understated appearance the blackbird has to be one of my favourites and this beautifully expressed poem does full justice to his fabulous song
