Thanks FAY for sharing your \"pain of lost love\" in the context of such an elegant poem. Every sensual relationship we have makes ud better for it but worse ~ when it comes to an end. So at all stages in our lives we can empathise. In the case and DS & Yourself ~ where it the end of a long loving and happy marriage that must in essence be impossible to bear. When you share the agony of lost love in a Poem we do absorb with you some of the pain but the majority must always lie with you. There is no answer ~ The LORD gives and (for one partner) the LORD takes away. However if we do have Faith of a reunion in Glory with our loved ones who have gone before ~ it can (so I am told) make the inevitable period of bereavement more bearable. Thinking of you and praying for you (and DS as well !) Yours B.

Better the owl than the rats. I felt the crumbling walls reading this. It\'s a shame so many of the old castles are
deteriorating, fit only for the Hoot Owls. I guess time does conquer a. Lovely poem. Enjoyed it. - Phil A.

Great Fantasy poem FAY thanks for sharing ! I could see and scent the decay in the ruined Castle but also (through your words) envisage it in its former glory ~ and the silk-shod dancers in candelabra lit halls ! The OWL (as all Owls do !) takes advantage ~ in a soundless swoop ~ of and unwary rat. Many of the ruined Castles in the UK will never be restored but still remain as \"listed ruins\" to ever be the haunt of OWLS ! Thanks for caring ~ Yours B

My God, how long ago was this ended, child labor laws and all. What horrible conditions and treatment of children. Ignorance can not excuse it. That is always the guilty cowards way out. A great poem on a very tough subject. You are brave to write about it. Great poem. - Phil A.

Trust is a necessary part of any relationship. You speak of it\'s absolute need in a marriage, which it certainly is. Without trust, based on truth, a marriage will fail. Well spoken.- Phil A.

This one here was very cleverly executed Fay. I loved the metaphors you\'ve managed to string together as the Charlottes web would interpret. It felt like reading a children\'s book, yet with a PG-13 inscription.
Well done poet!

Canvas had kept broad oily strokes. Lines moved across landscape. Beautiful paintings still remained in mind more. Vincent remained in memory of all. This poem is definitely a nice and brilliant tribute poem for Vincent.

The old time milk maid\'s work was long and hard. Today\'s modern facilities make the work lighter, but are the cows any happier.
A great write on a very unique subject. Makes us all appreciate our morning glass of white nectar all the more. Loved it. - Phil A.
