Oh cor blimey Fay, a bit contravertial. Us blokes have been getting a lot of stick for not hearing the NOs and imagining they are not meant thereby ending up in court. Not that humble, innocent, romantic littuw me ever would do anything like that of course.
On the other hand yes, I do see your lady melting here as the passion of her dreams approaches and..... well, as the saying goes, the rest is just toothpaste...
Innit awful when legal matters interfere with the romantic instinct.

That \'within loves halo\' feeling brings forth our wonderment about our surroundings and where we fit into the vast scheme of everything. There are no bigger surroundings than the sky above and around us and when seen on a cloud free night it can give that inclusive feeling that you two are simply meant to be.
Your romantic poem brings out the romantic in me LOL.

That yellow hue proves the sun is shining somewhere. I remember one morning arriving at the top of broadway hill and as i drove down there was a noticeable band of brown mist suspended above the vale of Evesham. That was in the 80\'s before we attempted to stop the pollution, not quickly enough I hear one and all say.
Confronted with daily news about pollution and global warming how refreshing to read your poetry today and envisage such a lovely view. I ache to sit quietly and take in such atmosphere..... methinks i have a wait ahead though.

took me back to past holidays
in the west country
so many wonderful walking paths
unassuming hidden beaches
and breath-taking hilltop views,
this is the best few weeks to view
the true wondrous nature of our beloved blighty
so many contrasting colours..
love your first line, a truly romantic depiction
\'Like a silk-veined yellow scarf
mist hangs today in the harbour.\'
such a wonderful read, dear Fay

Yellow – one of my favourite c……s. Seriously – a high performance touring bicycle I ordered and rode around parts of England many years ago was bright daffodil yellow. I wandered lonely as a…no, may have been done before..
Avoided using the ‘c’ word didn’t you..too controversial?
Fresh and easy on my eye here, your piece.

Hmm I\'m lacking all those things at the moment but I know how well you have described the wonderful creative times when words fall from your fingertips or you try to tease a novel way to adjoin words into something more meaningful.
All the more meaningful when respected poetic colleagues show appreciation in comments here on mps.
