Super write and what a great piece of music to accompany it - or is it the other way round? Really enjoyed this and must return to it when I have more time.

Goldi and Hood...

“Light winning over darkness”...
“Awaiting darkness to consume me whole”...

The struggle will continue beyond our existence! Some will always see the light. Some will always see the darkness...And some will struggle between both as one of my favorite lines states...
“...It stands on the edge of a blade...”

A great collaborative endeavor!! A round of applause to both of you! Awesome pic! Visually appealing! Bravo!
Enjoyed the read very much! Thank you!

Absolutely love this poem, Goldfinch! I too cook a lot with wine, and usually have a bottle open to take a little sip now and then while cooking. Hey, all great chefs do that!!!
I am more of a Zinfandel guy, but there are days when anything that is red and has alcohol is fine with me! :-)

TWENTY out of TWENTY (2 x 10) for this one ANDY ! DEAN MARTIN one of my fave singers ~ I give lectures on HIM ! He was born in the USA but only spoke Italian before he went to School ~ much better accent (and Singer) than Sinatra ! Dean milks every word ! RIOJA VINO TINTO is my fave red wine ~ the older the better ~ 2009 ~ good vintage ! Angela\'s Dad is Spanish so we always have RIOJA for celebrations (He gets a \"good price\" muy barato !). Beef & Mushroom Risotto with Rioja Tinta in the mix and the glass ~ Ese es Pardiso ! Thanks for the memory ~ Brian !

Brilliant Goldfinch60,

What a charming poem. The Rioja is very tempting. I am a white wine person though all the way.

Bravo Goldi!
Your poem...un pranzo squisito!! (A delicious meal) with the perfect ingredients...the risotto, the wine 🍷, and Dean Martin’s “Volare” for dessert! Awesome! I totally enjoyed the read! Grazie! Going right into my favorites!
Now I must go shopping for that Rioja😉

Wonderful symbiosis of a personally generated POEM \'n PIC ! Science cannot give a definitive answer for the exact and complementary dimensions of the Earth / Moon system ~ or how the Moon was formed ! It is much bigger and closer than one would expect ! Venus has no Moon and Mars two small ones the size of the Isle of Wight ! The BIBLE says GOD created a Greater Light (The SUN) to govern the Day ~ and a Lesser Light (The MOON) to govern the Night. Each light has a separate role and I thanks GOD for them every day ~ AMEN ~ Thanks for highlighting the MOON ~ BRIAN
