Good write Gold heehee. And does your bread always fall and land buttered side down? Depends if you put any butter on it before it falls to the floor I suppose!

While I generally prefer a saxophone over a clarinet, this player was absolutely amazing! You expressed that well in your poem!

You are right, Goldie, we can get lost in a beautiful painting, or a beautiful piece of music....or a beautiful woman. Well written, like it!

I did a watercolour workshop today - quite demanding - and in the car on the way home put on Einaudi - so relaxing it took me to another world - (had to reset the sat nav - only joking) so yes I know exactly what your poem is saying so well.

I also love the PR groups work and this stunning piece is a great example. Strangely imho it breaks a number of compositional rules the main one being the figures on the right and the figure in the distance all lead the eye out of the painting instead of into it towards the focal interest thus splitting the picture in two and yet it doesn\'t seem to matter - it still works as a whole. I\'ve not been to the Ashmolean and yet I went to Ashmole School in North London - I must make the effort to go there. Next week I will be visiting the Tate Gallery to view the impressionist exhibition - something I\'m looking forward to . All this and I\'m forgetting to comment on your superb poem - well written Andy.

A fine write and pic Gold. Yes, I \'ve been there a couple of times. Lovely place.
There\'s St Mary\'s Church there too - a scary tower to climb if you get vertigo - I do! A couple of other towers there too.

I really like this - I couldn\'t exist without music, or at least not exist that way I want to. Your poem reminded me of the below quote. Great write!
Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything - Plato

A fine write Gold. What can be annoying is a tune in our mind that we don\'t want. Some insane ditty or jangle - or hearing me sing! heehee.

I said it before, Goldie, I admire you. Your love for her shines through every day, and your faith does and will help you. But, you are only human, and there are days when even the strongest man needs to rest, needs to recharge the batteries. There are days when even the strongest believer has doubts and questions.

My heart goes out to you my friend. I think you show us here the torture youre enduring.
Hold that faith firmly in your heart. None of us know what awaits us ahead but i know i wouldnt want to be without my firm belief.
Make use of this respite time, you are still a warm sentient being, do things which bring some joy.
It feels odd to say tis goes into my favourites but i\'m so moved by your words that it must go there.

aaw bless you and i am so sorry for your wife....i am not sure if it is punishment , i guess bad things happen in life but i can understand why you say this , it is very unfair , this illness she has and of course it affects you , so sorry , its not fair at all . why do so many unfair things happen to people? i honestly do not know , but i can say i have had the same type of questions about my own life with all of my hurt which i have had to endure, it also makes me feel like i am being punished, for what i do not know. and although i am not a huge believer in god, my opinion is... bad things happen to people in life and god does not control what does and does not happen , its just life, its cruel and bad things happen . i am sorry for you and your wifes pain

A sensitive write Gold. It\'s easy to give \'pat\' answers, if we have any. We may only then appear \'super-spiritual\'.
I don\'t know what I would have done, e.g. in Peter\'s shoes. Probably run away with him and the other disciples at Jesus\' trial. In that case, Jesus knew they would run away.
Hope you find some true Christian support. I admit I play \'going to church\' a bit, and may not get too involved there. Then I feel bad if I genuinely need to ask for help - but I should not feel bad really.
