Snow Stopped Play.
BRIAN & ANGELA said:

Ohhhhhh ANDY ~ If only that had happened in OZ at least we could have DRAWN the first three Tests. My DAD was a great cricketer in his DAY ~ I have always favoured tennis in the Summer ~ and you only need two and a net ~ not 22 and acres of ground & side screens & cucumber sandwiches & and a scoreboard (preferably manual) & a pavilion and a car park etc etc ! I will play cricket in Heaven in 2074 (when I\'m genetically programmed to get there @ 91) because we will have an eternity to play and we will have new BODIES ~ AMEN ~ BRIAN

You know, GF I got the chills when I read your poem. I don\'t know what it meant but I just know you have the strength to get through this difficult path. Your love will always get you through.

I recall the last time I saw my father before he passed away. He looked at me with a puzzled look as if something was saying \'I ought to know you but who are you\' - Yes it is so difficult. sad write indeed Andy.

It\'s difficult. I wrote a while to someone in a care home. She had dementia. Then it was embarrassing. I got \'told off\' as she thought I was persecuting her. Thinking of you!

Erm, my present is NOT to sing to you all. Any peace will soon be shattered by my melodies! lol. I\'m recovering, you see. Oh no!
I\'m gonna sing that telephone directory in the new year. So a year of doom and gloom from me to all of ya! heehee.

Thanks ANDY ~ Retirement sounds great ~ but it must be an emotional change for both Husband & Wife ~ love the sentiments in your Poems. I retire (if I survive !) in 2051 when I\'m 68 which is twice the age I am now ~ so I will have to work for as long as I have lived ~ Shock / Horror !!! I am preparing financially ~ BUT ~ I don\'t know how to prepare emotionally. I will enrol on a pre-retirement course in JANUARY 2018 ~ To be forewarned is to be forearmed ~ We\'re getting more destitute Pensioners @ the Foodbank ~ The Future is (one) ORANGE or should that be TANGERINE ~ I\'ve hung my stocking up in anticipation ~ Blessings @ Christmas ~ BRIAN
