Well my family think I\'m a tad eccentric so not so far removed - and I\'m not at all superstitious - I think of myself as a realist - well I\'m real - just looked in the mirror - oh no its cracked - great stuff Sue

Very good acrostic. Time has that effect sometimes but when we are doing something we enjoy the time just flies away.

A fine offering of poetry here sue. Taking a walk outside with a camera and pen and note pad as your company.

Sorry you\'ve had one of these weeks - something which never affects me - in fact quite the opposite - so much I want to achieve and as you get older less time to achieve it in. Just get that pen out Sue. Oh yes it\'s a super poem so you have been doing something LoL

I loved it. It is amazing how much we reflect on life as time moves forward. We all feel like a mouse in a maze sometimes as we travel each path.

Sue, your beautiful poem describes domestic life perfectly! Somebody once said that the only difference between a rut and a grave is depth.
Love the geometry metaphors.
All in all, excellent!

Very good write, it can be so hard losing parents but their memory will never fade. I can still visualise my Dad and I talking about music over a glass of wine and he died over twenty years ago.

Sorry for getting emotional, but sue, you so accurately depicted the last days of my mom. I want to read it again in the future and made it a favorite. Thank you!

Depressed - the definition
Accidental Poet said:

They say, \"When you hit rock bottom, the only place to go is up. sue, we\'ve all been here at one time or another. When I\'m down like this it doesn\'t last too long. I turn it around and I bounce back. But it\'s good that you\'re writing about it and getting it out of your system. Hugs from all of us to you.

Depressed - the definition
FredPeyer said:

Indeed, what\'s the point? Even though I am not and never have been seriously depressed, my wife has been going through some stages of depression a few times (is better now too!), so I do know about it. You captured it perfectly.
btw, will do the same as James. He is right, there are so many poems every day and just not enough time to hunt through them. So I too will ask you to join my circle of friends, which makes it so much easier to find your poems.
