What ... you couldn\'t pick a simpler theme than the meaning of life? Like anyone is qualified to agree or disagree with your take? Noble analysis, your thought-provoking poem, Fred! I need some aspirin.

Enjoyed your poem Fred. I understand Dr. Seuss poems were written in predominantly anapest metric feet (uuS); had the pleasure walking through the Dr. Seuss themed area at Universal Studios a few weeks ago (Orlando) your poem brings this all rushing back to mind.

Wow! I love this cute tale. I have a little blue dinosaur on my bed side table together with a lamb, a cat and a little mouse that resembles Stuart. I love them. I even talk to them. Those are mine and I don\'t give them to my granddaughter. Thanks for sharing Fred.

One would hope that there is always hope, hopefully. Welcome back, Fred. Hope you enjoyed your time away, but can appreciate missing this forum. Kudos on the poetic tribute to hope!

A fine write F. yet I too think there is always hope, that is not just wishful thinking.
This reminds me of: If one never expects any good to happen, one won\'t be disappointed if all works out badly! Yet that seems pessimistic.

Super write. The way you talk about the geckos sounds fascinating, I reckon I would get nothing done as I would just sit watching them.
I hope your work goes well.

Got to love those gecko \"insect control\" commandos - for both entertainment value and utility. Your poem reminds me of the vast, wondrous, and good humored hand of the Creator.

Nice one Fred. last line joker. Reminded me of when i lived in an apartment in a huge stately home with windows beneath a portico. The bats would whizz around catching moths and one hot summer night a bat flew into my apartment thru the open window. Amazing creatures.

Never mean to do it but did it anyways. That is how we hurt others and get hurt. Sometimes, we even did not have the chance to change what we did, and have to swallow the consequences. Never became ever. Nice poem.
