Hard Day
myself and me said:

The drink gives them a moment relief from their hard life, while make their life just harder. I have pity for them, but too sad, I do not have a solution for them.
May I have a drink please? Soft beverage.
Well done, indeed.

Good write Fred and so true in many cases, although I enjoy good wine I do not drink it that much.

I lost a sweet younger brother to drink, and saw what it did to his family. A sad affliction it is.

Is it due to the high humidity in Hawaii that mold growing on wall?
Reading this makes me understand
\"no expectations,
no disappointments\"
So we will feel satisfied all the time. Isn\'t that a little bit boring?
Nice poem.

This is why the best is to not expect, but we do expect. With time I\'ve learned a lot. I\'m most of the time living in the now. Is so much easier. No suffering upfront and no suffering after either. Nice write Fred

Nothing wrong with expecting the best of outcomes. To expect less makes them come less often. My philosophy at least, for what it\'s worth.
Sorry for the mold/mould on your wall, Fred. Excellent poem grew out of it!

burning-embers said:

So very true, we both disappoint and are disappointed in this life. I wonder if theres a balance. Sometimes we can see we are going to disappoint. Is it best to let one down gently - and usually fail - or to slap them with it? Who knows?
