what do you do?

BRIAN here ~ Thanks for caring & sharing DA. In my 20 years experience (1999 - 2019) of being IN (and OUT) of LOVE ~ This is the most unkindest cut of all ! Someone YOU love being mistreated by someone SHE loves. Paradoxically (apropos your Two Way Street) I saw one such GIRL (Christine ~ arm in a sling & and a black eye) coming down an ESCALATOR as I was going up. She seemed in a daze. When I reached the top I rushed down again but CHRISTINE had gone ~ and I wept. Next time I saw her she was OK and said she had an accident @ work. She was still with DRACULA ! I moved away and we never met again. But I often wonder what would have happenned if we had both been GOING DOWN ? Great Poem in both Form & Function !

What do you do when the words of the song,
Bring tears to my eyes as I sing along,
Those tears filled with love,
And words from above,
Move forward in life,
Where there is no strife.

Maybe we can say that on a certain day of the week, or why not every day of our lives - nothing to lose, but surely every thing to gain
It\'s all in our attitude

Love this - you\'ve got me saying \'White Rabbits\'. Angoras? My tradition on the first day of each month is to check the bank balance.

Thanks for posting this poetic reminder of how to greet today\'s incoming of September - -Oh I remember white rabbits well - - my junior school teacher used to tell us to chant as we jumped out of bed on the first day of any month - - WHITE RABBITS three times........ I have never forgotten and even now some months remember to say it....
Hah - strange little habits I agree D.A.

Lovely words. Embracing the new seasons and you make it sound so magical and comforting. I too say white rabbits, three times, on the first day of a new month. Strange isn\'t it?

Take care

Thanks for sharing DA ~ Both ANGELA & I are familiar with the ravages of BIG-C. Physiotherapy & Massage can bring some relief ! In my case it is caring for Members of my Extended Family and Students (some as Young as 20) ~ Invaded by BIG-C. I love the Story of Marie Curie and the development of RADIUM in the fight against BIG-C. And The Marie Curie Nurses & The McMillan Nurse. Like yoiur Volunteers they are there when you need them ! Thanks for sharing an awesome TRIBUTE !

You describe the need for unlikely strangers meeting to fight the good fight so heart-breakingly well my friend - and those volunteer heroes need such a tribute - - this goes into my favourites.

You and they (the volunteers) both are the heroes. I don\'t know, but I might give up spiritual help (my faith) if I was in the position of some people.
I send you human compassion anyway, if the spiritual side may not bring you much, or any, comfort.
