Dear Dusk,

What a deep and powerful message you have penned. The ups and downs of the seasons of our lifeā€¦

ā€˜but here we are, quietly alive,
enriched by those yesterdays
learning the true value of our livesā€™

Youā€™re so spot on with this beautiful poem.

Thank you for sharing.

Dusky a wonderful write. All seasons have their strengths and as we pass through all of our seasons we need to appreciate each as it comes.

I suppose the seasons dictate our lives. I\'m a summer season, and all good things happen in summer.

Like the months of calendar
Like the seasons of year
Like the time of watch
Yonder grows life
Some stuck in spring
Some waning in winters
But sage are those that are capable of evolving
You my dear friend, truly humble and gentle
Witty and so full of knowledge
Thanks for this deep insight
Relished your poetry
Thanks for such fine words
I did meet friends like you herein at MPS

Deep words well imbibed
Riding upon natureā€™s work
True are the emotions
That yearning and separated love
A new plant shall sprout
So will come the spring
As always so elegant and charismatic words dear Dusk
Sheen straight from sun canā€™t be hidden
Jewelled poets shine even at their lowest
Cause they are the mettleā€™ of courage

True are the words with no denial
When humanity is at depletion
The war cries and the destruction of the true satan fills the street
Itā€™s a tragedy but the poetry justifies the demonic era that is surfacing
Very accurately presented dear dusk

What a wonderfully stated claim that the human race has not progressed far. We have recently had a technological revolution advancing us beyond our wildest dreams but there has never been a social revolution to put us equal to our technological achievements. May be some day if we survive long enough. I particularly loved your last stanza.

so astute, dear Poet
we do, indeed
resemble, a society of
despairing mind\'s, overwhelmed
by chaotically decrepit, Times..
(\'where is this exalted life of harmony\'..
personally, I cherish
that shard, of its promise
I twirl into my cup of tea
and then utilise
its afforded, semblance of solace
as I sigh and exhale
my worries, in every sip..
as Plath, said best:
\'Tea leaves, thwart
those who court catastrophe\')
we must stay strong, morosely
I\'m sure theirs worse to come
before we get our, momentary
reprieve..

It certainly seems that the human race is out to destroy itself d a, all it needs is for love to rule the world and peace will come to all.

Beautifully penned. Brimming over with metaphors, it paints a picture of time past. Catching the wave and riding it as far as it goes. \"but the tide has turned I plough those crests no more\" wonderful lines

Brilliant!
and who knows, that tide
may change, once more...
(thanks Dusk
one of your very best
in my humble opinion
and that\'s saying, a lot!)
\'but tide has turned
i plough those crests no more
now birds in the night cry out
and chill of wind kicks sand in my face
the change of season\'
these lines are a poem
within a poem
just by themselves..

I\'ve always noticed when that alarm goes, it goes at that point, usually the pivotal point. I\'ve also noticed you can\'t re-dream dreams, and that\'s so frustrating.

I love a good story, and this was a gem. The scene beautifully set, the characters come to life. And just when it gets really good, well that\'s the way dreams are. Didn\'t see that end coming, but it made it all the more enjoyable.
