What a wonderful expression of memories of youth coming on gently as if in the onset of sleep and drifting into a dream. Very well written. I think this is one of your better poems.

Being young feels like being immortal, doesn\'t it? A lovely reminiscence of the past and left a nostalgic touch, great job!

wearing sorrow to find a weeping audience in an attempt to paint a perfect picture to gift to others in order to give you pleasure is a deep message to all. Well worded.

Your poems are always such a delight. Although I can\'t pinpoint exactly what the main theme is about. I have some interpretations. Possibly feigning sorrow hinted at by the first couple of lines. But I\'m also a little ambivalent towards the last lines where you find pleasure in \"the giving.\" But then again you are referring to that \"cunning nature\" so yeah. It\'s ambiguous and I enjoy that!

my cunning puppet
is \'hope\';
its very essence
essential in its, nature
to make reality, disappoint
at every turn
and yet, its existence
a quintessential
anchor, to our unbending
will
in each step, of breath
we accumulate
as our cherished life\'s
cyclical, progress...
(just another great, thought provoking write
dear insightful Poet!
thanks for sharing)

\'enraged my thundering timpani\'..
what imagery!
immersing us, in that crackling
monotone, drumming of our pulses
whilst traversing
that impending inevitability
of a love\'s
last, remaining autumnal leaf
surrendering, its grip...!
(a heartbreakingly beautiful depiction, Dusk
thank you!)
