Very good words Lorna, I often sit and look out at the rain but am often in the rain as well and that can be quite enjoyable as after all skin is waterproof.

lol, if this wasn\'t written by someone with your subtle touch for razor sharp witty humour, it would need to be age restricted material,

Lorna,

Please find that ‘d’
‘my little chickadee’.

I couldn’t resist writing this comment.

The first thing that popped in my head when I read your ode was the rhyming of
‘d’ with ‘chickadee’.
It reminded me of Mae West and W.C. Fields in that great movie “My Little Chickadee”

“...My pretty little chickadee
Everything is gonna be all right
Yes it will, yes it will now...”

...so please find that ‘d’!

Today I’m going to download the movie and watch it. I need a good laugh on this particular day.

Such a heart-rending piece of writing.
If I understand what you’re saying, I’m going to say something that I hope it’ll make you smile...I’m glad you couldn’t climb that hill—not just yet.
