Ignore it, Lorna, ignore it. Agree with the sentiment embodied in your well penned piece, but still I ignore it.

Oh lordy - love the vernacular, Lorna. Are You hunkered down OK? Roof bolted to mainframe?

Uncle Vania sold his garden
and bought a cherry orchard
knowing that the spring
will dress in white just for him
the clouds are crying
without giving up the blue of the sky
as for boredom

it\'s a state of affairs
which urges to

Yes Lorna precisely right - takes time to learn that uninformed opinion directed towards self means SFA. Well put.
As a rider though, more generally, uninformed opinion can be dangerous....

I had to put my rubber boots on to read your poem. Well theres sure plenty of inspiration falling from the skies where I live for a poem like this to be written.
Strong powerful words.

Lorna,

Thank you for sharing a spot on description of last night’s storm…trees are down strewn in the middle of the street others resting on some cars. Ironically they were going to be pruned today and tomorrow.

I like the contrast between your choice of the pic and Beethoven’s symphony.

Thanks Lorna – that ‘s a very vivid account of a thunder storm…in the morning? For me they seem to occur late afternoon or evening here.

I suppose you don’t want to hear my interpretation of such an event? No? Thought not…too late:
The heavy booted fellas upstairs are shifting the furniture again. They’ve knocked the water tank in the process and it is pouring out. The water has short circuited the electricity supply and there are flashes everywhere…
