Sunday Shivers
dusk arising said:
The eerie knowledge that one, alone, is heading passively toward the end of... end of what... end of control of ones faculties, end of freedom as a \'home\' beckons, health as susceptability to some gross illness?
I enjoyed the art and skill of your poem today and it\'s haunting tone.

wanna know something funny
the brilliant French vocabulary
put everything you\'re expressing/feeling
in this write, in-to just one word
\'Ennui\'
(literal definition of Sunday afternoon
sudden lacklustre mood)
lol, thanks for sharing

I\'m with Neil here, Lorna I respectfully suggest you leave their thingamajig strictly alone . While your overflowing inbox might make you feel very wanted, these relationships are superficial and can only lead to successive blows to your self esteem when they turn out to be devoid of depth...... or something., blah blah...Your very own Agony Uncle.

The elder poet said:
We all have to deal with the loss of our friends . More so when we get older. It\'s hard . But you have to keep that friend or loved one in your heart . And in your mind. Think of them often . Think of the good times. Speak of them often. Keep pictures around . It\'s those things that keep them alive. You know their pain is gone. And that is a good thing. Keep your memories. so sorry for youe loss.

Lorna - Such sad and heartfelt words. Let\'s hope that we may all meet up again with our lost ones. I once wrote some lines following the death of a close friend - \"Think well of me now I am gone. The world now dark where once the sun had shone\" Go well John

My Dear Lorna,
Ahh…worries, worries, and more worries…
Life hands us many of them that tend to emanate negative emotions. I believe to let those worries we worry about motivate us to do something positive about them.
Thank you my dear poetess for sharing your beautiful poem and your choice of song. They’ve warmed my heart.
Deseo que “esta Laura” (a quien le has dedicado tu poema) sea la mejor guerrera valiente que pueda ser.
I wish you a wonderful day, dear Lorna.🤗

Loved this Lorna - It must be wonderful to horse ride in the open country - I envy you. Last time I rode a horse it was in France on a trek organised by the campsite. The horse in front of me held everybody up by stopping to eat the hedge and the French rider couldn\'t pull him away - So I attempted to say in French \"Give me the reins\" Not knowing the word for reins I risked that it would be the same word in French so I said \"Donney moi les reins\" ... The rider looked confused as what I was saying was \"Give me the Queens\" !!
