Lorna,

Good morning.
We’re up nice and early.☀️

Love the song. I haven’t heard it in a long time. It complements your poem very nicely.
One particular word you penned that lofted me into a memory of long ago is ‘loft’. The first time I heard that word was on a golf course while watching a golf tournament...where I met my husband.

HI LORNA - Angela Here - Love Ne w England in the Fall & Connecticut - What a State to be in & enjoy the Fall Colour. We are in Essex - Old England - but with Climate Change our leaves are staying on longer when they change from green to yellow to ornge to red to Brown. Some Americans say *The Fall Colours in Old England are nearly as good as in the New !* Although the UK has 200 times less Forest than the USA. The sheer scale of the Aspens in Colorado in the Fall leaves us all breathless. Thanks for sharing the Video - good background music - reminded me a bit of John Denvers - Country Roads. Thanks for sharing !

Blessisgs & Peace to You & Yours

A poignant write Lorna. Time does heal, though we know it\'s not just \'time\' in itself - it\'s other people, support, our faith, etc.

Welcome back Lorna, it is great to see you here again.

I know exactly how you feel, my wife passed away at the end of December last year. Words have helped me with my loss but one set of words has helped so much.

unfortunately this is so very relatable and sad .. fortunately, and I am sure many others will feel the same, there is nothing corny whatsoever here .. you have crafted a beautiful poem on an emotionally charged and personal issue/loss .. and .. if as I imagine based on an actual personal bereavement .. I offer my sincere condolences ...

On another note .. welcome back my friend,

... Neville

Welcome back Lorna - you have been missed and this sad posting tells why loss of such a personal kind is the worst kind of challenge until time eases the grief - the final line in the read had me in tears.

Lorna,

Welcome back!😄
I’m so happy to ‘see’ you.
I missed you very much!

“I will have to apply myself to try
Not looking for you
In the next room and the next“

Your words are so true...
I have the same sentiments about my mom.
Although it’s getting easier to accept that they’re gone, we will always miss them!

Warm Regards

Laura🌻
