Winnie and Roo
Laura🌻 said:

Lorna,
I’ll stay in the room! I’m with you...
You know how much I love Winnie the Pooh...and Roo too! A great first read of my day! Love the pic...that little roo is adorable. Seeing one up close is magical...but dangerous...and that song is awesome! Thank you my MPS friend!

Super write Lorna, your garden is awakening.

The music is quite enthralling - it could have been written by Max Richter - have a listen to \"From Sleep\" by Max Richter.

I have just looked at the video on how the sound (music) is accomplished from the plants and it is quite phenomenal.

Reminds me of a line in one of one of my poems about a tree: In death it\'s age disclosed. Love this verse and now I can see the problem - quite a tree from the photo Lorna.

Lorna,
A fine write...but sad!
It’s like us...eventually we’ll be cut down too! I bet it had more rings than I ever will!
I’m guessing that’s what’s left of your pine tree!

A great one! I love the line...

Is that a pic or a painting?
Awesome colors!

Lorna - this is a sheer delight of a write - into faves. Made me think of that gorgeous pink gin I had before lunch with an up-market tonic, ice, orange, autumn fruits and lemon. Gin has really taken off over here with different flavours being the in-thing and many new distilleries have sprung up - we have three local to us. Sorry I\'ve gone off on a tangent - must be the gin. !! :)

You’ve confirmed my need to go camping in the woods!
It’s been years since I went camping and my seven year old son has never been.
I love the smell of the tall pines.
The magestic beauty of the Redwoods and sequoia trees.
Lovely poem!
Thank you:)

Lorna,
So sorry about your tree!

Great pic and poem. So great how you began it...“Our escorts to the sky...” That’s an awesome line!

I love the way you described your tree guy...
“my tree guy is like poetry in motion climbing the tree and cutting”!
Your ability to write about anything in poetry form is amazing! Actually, you’re amazing!

As far as men are concerned, I can think of a few things we could do without them! However, that’s like a double-edged sword...Can we live with them? Can we live without them? Well, that’s a thought for another day!

Thank you for posting the music clip! Johnny Cash is one of my favorites...his music and his life story!
