Tiny is often likeable and gigantic can be mind-blowing but climaxing with your inventive \"mindgasms\" made me smile. - -- Such an orgasmic ending methinks to that beguiling title mon ami................x

When Size is Not Everything
L. B. Mek said:

(yeah...
like when a misplaced, well positioned
word
is enough to wreck a honeymoon\'s fairy-tale
and curate a lifetime of nightmares...!)
I fear nothing
like the mind of a human..
not for its insidious potency
but for its capacity of haphazard ignorance
detonating, emotional weapons of mass
depression
indifferently, clumsily
then hands on lips, shrieking:
\'\'an oopsy daisy i never meant to, really...\'\'
(Brilliant!
dear Poet supreme
Brilliant!)

What an Appetite for Attention She Had
L. B. Mek said:

to be a shadow
within
a relationship
is a curse
I wouldn\'t wish upon my worst...
but wise Poet
those perpetuated
societal mechanism\'s that cultivate
such personas, truly amaze me
like how
as a child, everyone gravitates
for the cute kid
pinches cheeks, worshiping those gifted
smiling gurgles
and that kid grows-up thinking
this is reality, for everyone
forever and ever, daily
then comes the drop-off
now that child is left to swim alone
compensate for that missing attention
and here comes adulthoods trappings
and now hollywood is the mecca
for the good looking
with fck\'d up childhoods...
(still
the shattered hearts they leave in their wake
is neither forgivable or comprehensible;
my survival\'s avoidance trick
after burning me fingers on aesthetics
is to seek empathy in the eyes
of the one i dare
to entrust with my fragile heart
above intellect or anything else...)
sorry for ranting again, a great write dear Poet
so relatable

(eye to eye, promises
covertly playful whispers
all is fair, in craving thoughts
and imagined fantasies
till
we seek reality\'s, sensations...)
it\'s all fun n games
till drinks are involved
then tis all
\'but it meant nothing dear\'
confessions
and spilt tears over a moments
foolish choices
but then society, as whole
claps and laughs, like heartbreaks
are Christmas pantomime punchlines
and we all learn to move on
like betrayal is a pill, everyone learns to swallow
so no reason to endlessly, wallow
(erm
so maybe I\'ve still got some issue to be resolved
... maybe)
lol

Liking this N and not an e\'ermore in sight! It\'s \'alway\' that\'s a problem. Don\'t publishers realise it\'s poetic, and that poetry is, erm, poetic?! It does not always have to be \'always\'.
End of waffle or guff, or rabbiting on!

The read of your poetic posting today hits a valuable truth my friend. - - Realizing the desperate need for attention in another and giving it willingly heals in measures we know little about and is a sign of true understanding in any relationship. The depth your expertise reaches in this verse Nev is outstanding and the piece is now in my list of favourites ........x

Dunno about being someone else, but I do vainly (of course) wish I could go back and rectify those occasions where I acted less than honorably to another or made embarrassing missteps.... memories that all too frequently pop into my head at this time of my life...

Now That My Lady Is Gone
Bella Shepard said:

My dearest friend, a different person emerges and it takes time to get to know him. Be kind to him, comfort him, take good care of him because he is well worth it, and with patience, he will find the way to forgive himself, and even love the person he is. I\'ve been there, done that, and it is a journey worth taking.
