Your poem may be brief,

a lot for your readers’ to unravel.

Thank you for sharing your mighty pen.

Covert is one of my favourite terms to describe Covid - how did you know that I wonder ! --- your penned question Nev. has more than one answer but one in the eye for cunning Covid is to be known as a determined survivor - - methinks - - maybe .............x

There are many survivors of terrible episodes in their lives. All too readily we can think of the terrible loss of life in WW2 and extermination camps.
How does lockdown/shielding compare, are we heroic survivors. No. Though a dramatic episode in history it does not compare to history\'s disasters for us survivors.
But it ain\'t quite over yet.

Sorry to go off subject Neville but the above are thoughts which came to mind reading your words my friend.

Brings forth pictures of Hubby, of course he looked like Jesus Christ, who was truly my first Idol!
Of course we were from the later generation! Not the Hippies of the 60’s

\"Perfectly hued,\" is of itself a dream. Even a world without people, still must contend with the nastiness of Nature. A day might be so hued during the daylight hours, but then there is the darkness, and the world is full of predators and prey, storms and disasters, angry seas, unbearable temperatures, etc.
\"If\" begins your poem and it is a mighty big word, but accepting the impossible as possible, it would be a beautiful dream come true, such that we could surely never close our eyes again.
Your poem presents a view to the world and to the nature of man that we all wish to be true. It is food for thought served on fine china. It is appetizing to the palate and honey to the taste. Loved it! - Phil A.

An appealing thought rtdes upon your words this fine wednesday but..... would I trade my dreams for the world to be so, shaped?
Nay sir, open eyed and i say nay sir. My dreams are a wonder for my inner eye only and mine alone. They are the wit of my poetry and i shall take them with me to journeys end.

Thank you neville for lighting a fire with your words today to exercise my thoughts along a track they had not seen.
