Reminds me of \'Dance of the sugar plum fairy\' by someone or another. I\'m not \'into\' classical stuff as an expert, as you see! lol. Some Chai-coughski bloke it is.

A fine write Neville. Ahh, I can\'t meet her then? Did you meet her in person?! Such a short life. I\'ve not brushed up on her history.

Never before have I read a more interesting tale of brave Joan who rode brazenly draped in Saint George - her fate was a scorcher but lest we forget this verse raises issues we may never have known. An engaging write Nev.

Love this expression of a lifetimes commitment to a lovers memory. For once she has read this and you enter her heart, then forever these words will bring her to that tender place within you where emotional attachments cement and never depart.
Into my favourites. Really enjoyed this.

There’s a lot of love poems on here lately, they’re nice but make me feel like I should be able to write something soft and lovely...
But maybe this is about a love of poetry or of the word?

Yes, extra space Neville, but sometimes made by sadnesses. Then again, space made by some we may say good riddance to!
Much space in your garden?

Hungry Corner
dusk arising said:
There is hungry corner and hungry corner. Several completely differing places. For one exists where real hunger kills people and beasts. Another exists in the mind of the needy. Well fed and cosseted can still be needy and hungry for something missing. Finally there is need in the desperate, a need never satisfied and as you write, everything will turn out wrong.
I try to get into the mental pictures given to me when i read poetry like this. Life has some sad jumbles beyond comprehension and i think hungry corner leads your reader into them if they are prepared to look.
