Congratulations on your 100th MPS posting. As a novice poet I received so much encouragement from the poets here.I learnt about various types of poetry and made new friends. This is a beautiful community. And may your wishes come true.

I have learned so much from my fellow poets over my few years here on MPS. MInd you, nobody has taught me yet how not to put my foot in it. I live in hope.
Great tribute to all, or most, who contribute here.

absolutely loved this stanza:
\'across the junction
facing the moon
watching the stars
welded in sky
the amber sky turns red
red to blue
blue to black
as pair of eyes searches for you….\'
Brilliant!

A sad and moving tale which, having just read Fay\'s post today, takes me mindfully to thoughts of war. The painful waiting, fretting, hoping, planning despairing of the home maker. Unaware. Living on.

Really touching piece.

Cor! You dont half run into a lofty subject here spiller. Time the greatest enigma of them all. And yes you address so much here, not least the desire to stop it, to step off and glance around... or maybe that skin crawling desire when we have goofed to turn back time.. if only. But if we could, would we still grow older as we travelled back in time.... lol somehow that one makes me laugh, i\'ll set the dial so i can sit my exams again that i took aged 16... and whoosh... there you are at your present age sat among 16 year olds you knew back then... weird.
I really enjoyed your post and as you can see i enjoyed playing with the subject.

Dear Spiller, its always said we love savoring sweet candies and swallow the bitter pills. But then when it applies to food, why not for our thoughts too..
Let the sweet memories stay and swallow the bitter moments immediately....Its works wonder, believe me..!!! Nice emotional write and penned beautifully !!
Its time you PAUSE on the sweet memories.. :)

Must admit, I think the world would end if coffee disappeared. Tea, on the other hand, us Brits would need to actually work instead of conquering the world with our tea breaks.

Relax, have a nibble on that cookie - all else will wait, there\'s no enemy at your door - except time and the bosses\' whip..... but for now, read a page or two.... relaxation calming you... you\'ll feel much better.... how about that resignation letter... or a snooze by the river.... a downstream day comes highly recommended

Well spiller, this poet lives behind locked doors and drinks water from a dammed stream in his fenced garden lit by an outside electric bulb.... none of which seems to interfere with my poetry.
I still see the beauty of the planet, am enchanted by the song of a blackbird and can blaize a trail to the wilderness, mountains or coast for spiritual nourishment.
Am I a victim?

To easily we take so much of creation for granted, afterall it is like a backdrop to our selfish lives. Then one day we realise and cherish.
If those stars were taken away i should surely miss them, but if they were never there then there are plenty of other wonders all around us so capable of filling us with awe.
