Tea/coffee, cookies and a book
Paul Bell said:

Must admit, I think the world would end if coffee disappeared. Tea, on the other hand, us Brits would need to actually work instead of conquering the world with our tea breaks.

Relax, have a nibble on that cookie - all else will wait, there\'s no enemy at your door - except time and the bosses\' whip..... but for now, read a page or two.... relaxation calming you... you\'ll feel much better.... how about that resignation letter... or a snooze by the river.... a downstream day comes highly recommended

Great poem! All we need sometimes is a good cup of coffee (or tea) and a good book to sponge up the dark nights. Nicely written! πŸ’–πŸ‘β˜•

Well spiller, this poet lives behind locked doors and drinks water from a dammed stream in his fenced garden lit by an outside electric bulb.... none of which seems to interfere with my poetry.
I still see the beauty of the planet, am enchanted by the song of a blackbird and can blaize a trail to the wilderness, mountains or coast for spiritual nourishment.
Am I a victim?

Beautiful! I loved this piece. No \"boundaries\" stand for the ones who truly desire to fulfill their purpose. πŸ™ŒπŸ‘Great job!

\'then look upon them
every opportunity you get
encase them in that carbon, memory

Yes true. Some are replaceable, but some are not. Enjoy the moments as long as we can see, move, breathe!

Absence

To easily we take so much of creation for granted, afterall it is like a backdrop to our selfish lives. Then one day we realise and cherish.
If those stars were taken away i should surely miss them, but if they were never there then there are plenty of other wonders all around us so capable of filling us with awe.

They may well vanish but in life there will always be something to replace them and bring your life to fulfilment once again.

I really loved reading this spilleronsheet, a very interesting concept, which has been excellently delivered.

May the blot write a song, for all to be proud of!

Bravo, and I hope that all is well!

It\'s never the end till the fat lady sings.
Okay, that\'s been flagged up. It\'s never the end till the big-boned lady sings.

The end
L. B. Mek said:

we fickle humanity
that throw away our heritage
and cultural pearls of wisdom
like we do
our daily clothes
then rush around
the very next morning, despairingly
questing
for that quintessential, shirt
woven
from the gleaned, experiences
of thousands of great minds
that managed
to conceptualise and then manufacture
shirt\'s
into this reality we inherited, brazenly;
while we
merely accessorise
those very same, shirt\'s
and deem ourselves, too
progressive, a modernity
to heed
their, painfully earned words
of caution...!

The end
dusk arising said:

Surely the most interesting parts of a story are not in it\'s beginning or end but rather on the adventures and passages along the way. Is love\'s beginning or ending more \'interesting\' than the love making in-between.... or, playing devil\'s advocate, are endings the thing which make us who we are?

Very relatable. It\'s common sense sometimes to put a stop to a situation that has no future.

The man with the gun is truly powerful.
The man with the pen will take your life.
Such an amazing little device, especially when you sign without checking the small print.

A superlative poem here spilleronsheet.

Though the story you\'ve told is full of woe, the brightness dwells; in the way you have delivered it so masterfully.

My best wishes go out to those, who are in this situation, as it could so easily be me, as freelancing isn\'t easy at the moment.

Bravo, and I hope that all is well!

The first verse made me think you had been in my home.... rather bleak here. I\'ve been up and down that ladder and played tunes upon it but in the end all that matters is a modicum of peace of mind. Well.... it works for me anyhow.
