this is the second time in a relatively very short space of time you have penned a poem that contains subject matter and associated imagery (in this case, a white moth) that I have been working on .. and although you may see it differently, I think it a bit spooky .. I also think this is better than the one I have just deleted .. if it happens again, I shall have to get my house exorcised .. Neville

Goosebumps, when my mother died a giant beast that must have been la moth flew into my home and flew up the stairs into my attic, I was completely terrified. The weird thing was it had never happened before and has never happened again, nor had I ever seen such in Italy, a chance meeting or a sign? I know the answer already. Your rhyming is superb and so is your Imagery. 🌹

First, I might not have much company joining me on this, but I love moths. No, I don\'t love them in my closet, but I always love seeing them, and when they land, I love to observe them. That aside, this is quite the chilling piece and quite the metaphor. Well done, my friend. 🌹👏

I see Donald Trump in this poem. He certainly is one worth keeping an eye on. A wonderful thoughtful poem. Excellent cadence and construction. Enjoyed

Wait and learn we shall see. Did you know that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion can cause severe air traffic problems evidently? Who knew oppression kept the airways safe? 🤷‍♂️ I am not sure whether to laugh or cry at this poem, nor what it will take for his supporters to wake up, if that is even possible at this point. Methinks not. Anywho. Well done, on this Soren, and you will see that our poems today share a certain...ehem...theme! LOL! 😝

Oh my, you say it all so poetically, what a ghastly world in which we have these ugly good for nothing loaded politicians, and none are worse as Trump. My very sore point, it\'s hard to believe he got the votes from the very people he will now screw over. Sorry I can\'t say it better than that. He speaks from his arsehole. Again please forgive my language I cannot say it more politely. A very clever way of making a point millions are now scratching their heads to fathom. 🌹

A wonderful description and very accurate one of the man that is going to cause the world an awful lot of problems and take his own country (that he reportedly loves ) back by about 50 years. Well expressed, great read

Old men dream too, don\'t they .. and not only of the past and those halcyon days of their own youth, when most, felt and thought they were young gods .. but also, of what delights may be left for them to harvest in the dwindling time of their future .. Neville

Aging is not for the faint of heart! I am only mid-aged (depending on how long I live too, of course) and, truthfully, I have already experienced things I never thought would happen. I know that only increases as the years go by, but we\'re all in it...so cheers! 🍻 Well done, my friend. Thoroughly enjoyed this sonnet. 🌹👏
