To praise ones essence in the hard labor of a sonnet, is so brave and lovely. Job well done! I hope to take a walk somewhere in the old world and sit and attempt one soon.

Teddy, I sit here in awe. I know what it\'s like for a poem to take so long to write, and you pulled this off beautifully. This my dear poetess, is what poetry is all about. 🌹 😊

Dear Teddy, now this is a sonnet to top all sonnets. I know how difficult they are to compose because I have dabbled myself. You have given your readers a love poem here of incredible depth and beauty. I can’t praise it enough. 🌹

Your poem beautifully expresses a deep and passionate love, comparing it to the intensity of the sun and the beauty of nature. The imagery of fiery eyes and golden locks evokes a sense of awe and admiration. The poem also touches on the theme of forgiveness and the importance of cherishing each day. The final lines convey a sense of eternal love and devotion, promising to continue loving even in the face of darkness.

Perfectly executed Teddy .. I must again confess you are far braver than I .. and for some sad reason, you made me think about our dear old Dusk Arising .. 🌹

As Soren so rightly points out, You are up there with, I\'ll say, the bard of Stratford-upon-Avon, Teddy.
And this coming from someone with a general antipathy for love poetry.....

Teddy this holds such a classical feel. I hear Browning in this somehow. Romantic to the core. I love this one. So many good lines from the first stanza on.
\"Dusk until dawn, to your love I have clung
Dreaming of a world that sing songs unsung
I, who dies in the forest of your heart
It’s I whom will die in the forest dark\"
There is deep meaning in these lines of obsession and facing the cold of being ignored or rejected.

I do believe you may have made a typo here, Teddy.
I\'m pretty sure it\'s \'cobblers\', as I believe you are far too canny for that......

You might like the series Hazbin in Hell. Who knows? I know about burning midnight oil, though.
Exhaustion, whew! Know that feeling. Especially when I used to read by kerosene lamp.

\"a broken heart only needs
that one last sip
just enough to numb
the excruciating pain
that comes with loss
whilst giving company to my brokenness\"
A great stanza here. Identifiable for anyone that has suffered loss of any type. Loved it.

Seductive, alluring, haunting in a way, I hear a sirens call. Short but so powerfully packed with imagery leading one\'s imagination expanding on the original work filling in what is not said. A true sign of a wonderful work that lingers long after the read is done. Kudos for the courage to write on a risque\' topic with such class and skill.

Pass. I\'ve never been fond of a pretzel as the last one was followed by an extraordinary large dental bill after I got my indigestion under control, (half a box of antiacid tablets it took) and I really can\'t afford another and I\'m trying to loose weight so the bendy bit isn\'t going to work for me, plus the thought of her dirty feet is a little teensy bit of a turn off and.........
