Even though have been together with my loved one for most of my life, I am coming to terms with the wonder of being alone, with the occasional lapses into my wonderful memories with my loved one.
Wonderful words once again Fay.

That\'s me that is!

After reading goldfinches piece today and responding positively i feel that you have composed this super piece in sympathy to our positive outlook upon each new days adventure opportunity.

So well written and enjoyable.

There\'s a lot to be said for being single in later years if one is of a positive disposition. I have never experienced the lasting togetherness of a true soul mate and no longer care to contemplate a half way house. Indeed i wonder were I in such a relationship of convenience for the latter half of life would i have the freedom of mind to write poetry. I would feel somewhat unfufilled. Just an expression of thoughts upon the condition which sits, for me, between the lines of your words today.

One of the wonders of mps is that other\'s words can take you to self expression hitherto unspoken i find.

Romance refreshes the parts other kinds of rowing just cannot touch and before you know it yesterdays blues have capsized and you\'re swimming with the current.

There aint nothin quite like it is there our Fay... nothin at all .. exceptin poetry .. maybe .....

a perfectly executed poetical consideration of the transient nature of sameness and constant change .....

Amen! an emotive tribute to that quickly burning - passion fuelled romance, we have all lost at least once,
though ultimately depicting a sad feature of a universally shared experience, this work is unmistakably warm and comforting: a signature brush stroke of the writer\'s unquestionable skill, I imagine

Beautiful words, Fay. Is love a once in a lifetime event? Or can it re-occur? Those were the questions your poem raised in my mind, but whatever the answer, your words do it justice and with beauty attached. - Phil A.

Yes indeed, love is heavenly.

And I sat thinking about love after reading you here. Recapturing in my mind some of those feelings when love is brand new and nothing finer flows through one\'s soul.

Look what you did, thank you.

ANGELA HERE - Good Afternoon FAY ! WOW - RAPTURE - A very emotive & spiritual word ! However since being married to BRIAN (in March) I have experienced (@ 32 !) for the first time - just what *Sensual Rapture* can be ! Just holding & kissing BRIAN sends me into RAPTURES ! You will understand - that because we are devout Christians (and Brian a Deacon !) we held back in our Physical Relationship - BUT - now all barriers are down we have entered the *Exploritory Realm of uninhibited sensual LOVE* and YES - *RAPTURE* is the appropriate WORD ! Plus all the colours of Loves Ecstasy !

HEAVEN accepts & its approves - AMEN !

dusk arising said:

Dreamyhead\'s delight before our eyes. Truly capturing the early waking to capture the dawn and slumber as \'rays snipe at quiesence\' - a lovely line in itself.

Waking as the natural world awakes before our sleepy eyes.

Beyond my capabilities at the moment for shielding ha not only made me fatter and lazier but also broken the spring in my body clock. Dawn has become, for me, unfamiliar.

Sleep\'s Acres.
L. B. Mek said:

that last line is such a quirky twist - it anchors your chosen writing style and form to cultivate that \'sleep drunk\' awareness effect, recreating the sluggishly blurry - dawning of reality, when the sleepiness finally clears,
highly creative, really well thought-out
