Ah, to drink deeply with a blackbird soprano sound like really good fun. Your poem captures this bird at its finest. Just like your writing...!!

Super write Fay, the blackbird song is wondrous but the first bird heard in the morning (and the last at night) is the robin, still a wonderful sound though.

Once more, an excellent piece Fay. I promise I will read again this evening, outside, at dark. It promises to be a fine autumn evening here in Yorkshire so your fine words will enhance it for me.

Between lovers
A world of love exists in harmony
That goes on for eternity
Where two souls become one
Never ever parting
The love increasing in their journey.

GOOGD EVENING FAY ~ A & B BOTH HERE ! We often answer the Question *How are things* by *Betwixt & Between* ! You have illustrated the *BETWEENESS* of areas we take for granted ~ excellently in your (as always) elegant ode ! The areas BETWEEN ~ Yesterday & Tommorrow ~ Now & Infinity ~ Waking & Sleeping and Heaven & Paradise ! Much Food for thought ~ Thanks for sharing ! Please check our Poems ~ mixed reviews.

These little beauties must have been able to sense that you are very much attuned to the ways of the natural world as can be seen in many of your writings.

Lovely entertaining story you recount today. A pleasure to read.

Wow I admire the poetic terms with which you convey your muse here. I like using oasis , brook and yonder so I enjoyed how you employed your word choice. It\'s creative how you theme this on the bliss of togetherness and love\'s warmth. Kudos for such an awesome poem.!!

Pls pleez do comment/ write your thoughts under my newest poem too.

BEAUTIFUL FAY ! The Picture & Poem ! The boldness and brashness of feral animals - when they are hungry & thirsty beggers belief ! The Foxes in Essex are getting more cheeky by the day ! My (BRIAN) Mum throws scraps out for the Birds (who have always been BOLD) and now the FOXES come to claim their righful share - even if there are Humans about. A Neighbour of my Mums has been doing some preservation work in her shed and has disturbed a Rats nest Now they also come (with three little ones !) to share the food and drink in the pond ! We watch them through the French Window - visually they are delightful ! Thanks for sharing !

Sea-Swell.
Suresh said:

those undertows hidden in its swells,
tumble the mightiest in its wells -
excited by the moon’s phases,
whether calm or the frothy head it raises.

True poetry is such, that the words are often insufficient to show one’s appreciation
