BIRD-TALK..
MendedFences27 said:

We are in the midst of Snowstorms here. I\'ll be lucky to see a Penguin, maybe. Just kidding. Come spring and summer our backyard (garden) is host to lots of feathered friends. We watch and try to identify them. Some sing, others squawk. It can get very loud at times. Oh well, enjoyed your descriptions of your encounter. Nicely done. - Phil A.

Brilliantly described. I have just returned from my studio and I saw a blackbird under the bay - as I got near he hopped up onto a branch about level with my face and just sat there as I walked past - although I am sure he would flown at the first movement of my arm I could have reached him easily - he just sat there as I walked past softly talking to him. There was just something quite magical about it as there is about your poem..

Amazing wild life story from you again. I wonder just what these little beauties have in their mind when they seem to communicate with us. For all we know they\'re telling us to bugger off... or maybe \"come any closer and i\'ll fly away\".... or \"join in, have a drink, there\'s more than enough for us both\".... What did you imagine was being said?

Beautiful Fay and in any language...

would you believe it I saw a dipper this morning, as I often do hopping along the river Parrett which runs near the bottom of my garden... yesterday, I saw a kingfisher in almost the same spot.... x

Lusty and bawdy, like rolling in the clover. Oooooh....such anti Victorian behavior. I\'m sure it all happened behind closed doors. Perhaps, they were locked and he could not escape.
A lovely poem with a taste of fiery passion. I like the form of it .She goes from unveiling her powers, to a plea for satisfaction I\'m sure this made everyone\'s day. Really good stuff. - Phil A.

The wonder of springtime made glorious with your fine words here today.
Yes, the re-birth of our beloved \'taken for granted\' natural world is the most wonderful time of year. Made more rewarding when one stops to observe and think about the wonder of it all, as prompted by you today.
I\'m looking forward to that time brief time when the grasses and foliage turn everywhere into a verdant lushness before the sun begins to bleach and sap. Ho-hum!

resist like the rest. HARD AS ROCK !

Life hardens us all. Better to be the rock and not the bug, Remember that gentle water flowing carved out the Grand Canyon. Sometimes we can lose the pain gently over a long time and still be strong enough. A great bit of imagery of strength of stone and the power of positive thinking.. Loved it. - Phil A.

Though we can be shaken to the foundations by the unexpected actions of others, such occasions can reveal to us our true mettle. That central \'me\' core which life has matured within. For a while we run in \'safe\' mode don\'t we.

But the sun still shines, the trees remind us of passing seasons, and the joy of grandchildren light our eyes. Such beauties warm our core allowing it to melt safely. But it\'s ever there.

I think your words stirred something in me today.
