My Dear Fay,
This is absolutely a beautiful but somewhat sad poem that pulls at my heartstrings! As I read it, I was vividly reminded of the time my grandfather was ill and the end was near! I wished and hoped with all my might that he would be okay because they told me that God would take care of him! I was barely four years old at the time of his passing!
Thank you for this share!

Death doth hide but not divide
It is as though the rose
That blossomed on our Garden Wall
Has bloomed upon the Other Side !
This is a verse we have used at Funerals & on gravestones. Reading between the lines of your second verse. My Boyfriends often sent me 12 rosebuds (@ Valentine etc) and they opened as our love developed ! Your poem is very elegant in its presentation : and expresive in its prose. Thanks again for a precious & personal Poem.

My Dear Fay,
Absolutely stunning!
Your words flow as does that waterfall. A relatable message your poem does express!
So true...
all it takes is “one mad moment”...
“In one mad moment
fosakes granite’s grasping
claws and reels
forward at thunderous pace”...
...“once in motion water takes
the path of control.”
When I saw the title “Pace”, I immediately thought of PEACE. Pace in Italian means peace. As I read the poem, I sensed peace if we’re given enough space to breathe freely!

Thanks for caring FAY ~ COAL is an awesome fuel and Chemical feedstock. It was Coal that energised the Industrial Revolution and made Train travel possible ! Today we take these facilities for granted and pay scant attention to those who mine the coal in difficult and dangerous circumstances. the H & S has improved ! Today there are fewer Coal Miner and fewer fatalities per 10,000 miners. In the USA in 2017 there were 84,000 miners and only 15 fatalities (2 in 10,000) ~ In 1917 there were 721,000 miners and 2228 fatalities (30 in 10,000) !
Yours as always BRIAN

WORDS.

Thanks FAY : Someone said \"A Poem is just words : strung together : often without rhyme or reason !\" BUT through MPS (and gifted poets like yourself) I am learning they are much more that that. They are expressions of the Hearts : Minds : Souls & Spirits of Real People and should be treated with TLC. Brian likes to comment on NEW POETS : Ialways feel sad if a POEM has ZERO comments ! JUST WORDS ? NO ! Poems do need to be Used : Never abused : Perused and Cherished & kept forever ! Thanks for sharing such lovey poetic thoughts :
LOVE ANGELA : 🧡🧡🧡🧡

A lot of this plays a large part in a view of psychology to me. The art of seeing through another is a tricky one. I agree with the message of not judging people. You never really know who someone else is of course, but we all know that no one is perfect - So how could we judge at all?
Nicely written.
