Good write, Fay. It’s a sad state of affairs the trafficking of the young and poor, or families selling them into that life

A fine write Fay. I suppose it can seem easier to live by sight, and what we can sense, rather than by faith - unseen, but still there, etc.

My Dear Fay,

This is absolutely a beautiful but somewhat sad poem that pulls at my heartstrings! As I read it, I was vividly reminded of the time my grandfather was ill and the end was near! I wished and hoped with all my might that he would be okay because they told me that God would take care of him! I was barely four years old at the time of his passing!
Thank you for this share!

Death doth hide but not divide
It is as though the rose
That blossomed on our Garden Wall
Has bloomed upon the Other Side !

This is a verse we have used at Funerals & on gravestones. Reading between the lines of your second verse. My Boyfriends often sent me 12 rosebuds (@ Valentine etc) and they opened as our love developed ! Your poem is very elegant in its presentation : and expresive in its prose. Thanks again for a precious & personal Poem.
