Beautifully written observations of that creation of a lifetimes bond between a doting pair.
Brings a joyous smile to my face and memories of my puppy bundle of fluff \'Zoe\' now long departed.

My Friend you would not tell
with such high zest ................
To Children : ardent for some
desperate GLORY ; the old lie
DULCE ET DECORUM EST
PRO PATRIA MORI !
It is sweet and fitting
to die for ones Country

RUPERT OWEN killed in battle (WW1)
4 November 1918 aged 25

Yes FAY all War is futile but while
Aggressive MEN rule the WORLD
it is inevitable. I pray there will never
be a WORLD WAR (like WW1 & WW2)
ever again. It would destroy the Planet
ONCE & for ALL.
Thanks for sharing & caring :
Love ANGELA 🧡 and BRIAN 😎

How can we be made in gods image if we send our young to fight the cowardly politicians battles? Maybe god is not so benevolent as we were led to believe? This is a cruel world.

A fine write Fay. Yes, on a youth theme, it\'s said pre-teens even, say, age 12, don\'t have full \'road-sense\'. Here young lives wasted in learning and going to war. We\'re the only species that do it. Even animals only kill for food, and because they need to.

Thanks FAY ~ In history WALLS ~ Like the Walls of JERICHO and more recently BERLIN crumbled & fell at the onslaught of TRUTH & LOVE ! So it will ever be. TRUMP will see that AMERICA has more need for MEXICAN migrant workers ~ than MEXICO has for the USA. The WALL like a lot of other things ~ Trump trumpets ~ will never happen ! Ahhhhh FAY ~ The AGONY & ECSTASY of LOVE ~ Over the last 20 years I have experienced both ~ several times ! For the last two years ANGELA and I are both in Ecstasy mode and we pray it will last forever ! Our Touch IS as soft as a cobweb ~ our Bodies ARE damp with the Dew of Love ~ our Kisses ARE Ruby Red Wine ! It\'s just a pity that we are physically as far apart on earth ~ as we can be ! Our Love is STRONGER after 3 months separation (and then 2 weeks togetherness !) We know our Love will be twice as strong after 7 months of separation ~ AMEN ! Yours as always BRIAN

Ooooo FAY ~ Your elegant ODE paints a busy but less frenetic life style (before my Time) in the Middle of the last Century. West Country Farming ! Rumbling tractors ~ Laundry on the line ~ Owls & foxes ~ Country kitchens ~ Boiling eggs ~ Sheep dogs ~ Creaking gates ~ New born lambs ~ Chores 24/7 ! In some aspects LIFE was HARDER but I guess (without information overkill) people were HAPPIER ? Thanks for caring ~ BRIAN ~ Please check my FUSION on Seasons ~ Thanks B 🧡

Oh Fay - whenever you write nostalgically about countryside living you always take me with you. You\'ve done it with the sea as well. I wasn\'t born to farm life but working with the horses all those years with my husband left me loving the smells, the nature all around and the day\'s end satisfaction after being with all that for a full day. Thanks for this beautiful picture ...

Thank you FAY ~ GLASS is an awesome material ~ a supercooled liquid, which is why it is transparent. The form of 3D glass objects d\'arte is infinite and I am always intrigued by them. I am a Technical Glassblower and can make & repair Scientific Glassware ~ OK. ANGELA has a collection of Glass and also Lladro Pottery. I love the language in your Poem it brings the World of decorative Glass alive ! Entwined silhouettes ~ rotated throughout lit opalescence ! You came ~ You saw and the GLASS conquered YOU ! Another perfect Poem ~ Yours as always BRIAN. Love the photo ~ Thanks.

A fine write Fay. I saw something as old as me - a petrified decorative fossil, of about 200 million years ago. Don\'t drop it on a hard surface, it might shatter after all those years!
