Thanks FAY ~ as you know every Human Being is gifted in one way or another. Sometimes as your poem hints we are too busy and preoccupied to hone or share our gift ! The ANIMAL WORLD has no such inhibitions ~ and they all do what they do do well. Perhaps we have to much choice to achieve SELF-HOOD so we become Jacks of All Trades and Masters of NONE ! Love the SILHOUETTED PICTURE ~ Thanks for CARING ~ Yours BRIAN ~ Please check my POEM ~ Thanks B !

YES FAY ~ The UK used to be covered in FOREST now it\'s less than 10 % (The USA is still 50%) You have alluded to the symbiosis between Flora & Fauna ~ Plants inhale CO2 and exhale O2 and the animals vice-versa ! For years this maintained the CO2 @ 250ppm and its now over 400ppm due to Industrial CO2 and deforestation !
Unfortunately the POLITICIANS ~ who make these decisions are LUNATICS and ignorant of CONSERVATION & SUSTAINABILITY ! Al Gore (A Conservationist) would have made a Great Green President ~ Trump is an ecological disaster ! Thanks for caring ~ Yours as ever !

My dear Fay,
You’re so spot on with your poem!
It should be disseminated throughout the world!
When I’m in NYC, as a lifetime member of a Community Board, I attend their meetings. The subject of passing a city law/ordinance to stop homeowners from cementing their lawns to make a parking space for their cars always comes up! I cannot believe how difficult it is! It takes years! It’s unbelievable!

Your final words say it best...
ā€œLunacy governs as down each tree goes.ā€

Like the plastic in the ocean..... the saddest proof that mankind will self-destruct. Your poem does justice to the problem. There are some hopeful sites on internet that show some wonderful progress being made to fix problems so maybe the young people will be more aware...... for their sakes, I hope so.....

My dear Fay,
I love the Oscar Wilde quote you chose! I wish everyone would tattoo it onto their heart!
An awesome write delivering a beautiful message! Yes, ā€œlove’s tune composes much more than music.ā€

No one else sees what the lover sees and, with its own beguiling charm each oddness/strangeness/\'dischord\' can create within us a unique cherished value which bonds us closer to our special someone.
Binging home the marvel of the oft heard words \'i dont know what you seen in him/her\'.

Oscar Wilde had a beautiful heart I think. He has more memorable quotes than anyone I can think of.... that song that we hear (if we\'re lucky) is a lone one in a world of shrieks....

THANKS FAY ~ for sharing a lovely \"At one with Nature\" experience. The STRUCTURE ~ balanced triplets ~ is superb and the SUBJECT and language sublime ! Superficially one could say that you reflected on the \"growingness\" of corn ~ as you sat in it ! However your linguistic skills demand more than just that ! Love verse 3 ~ as fragile cobs through thick fringes crept ~ How long did you sit there ? V 4. \"The creation of protective webs\" V 5. \"Gilding pale corn\" V 6. \"That life\'s being is quite seeable to eyes on amazement bent\" That insight is what this very elegant Poem is all about ! Thanks for caring & sharing ~ Yours as always ~ BRIAN
